Hume destroyed those "facts" and "evidence" about 200 years ago, and Kurt G?del put the nail on the coffin over 60 years ago---the non-believer's position is based on just as much faith as the believer ( tho at least the believer is honest about it!)---ya'll need to catch up with the times!

Terry: David Hume died before Charles Darwin was even born and was therefore never exposed to information that would have helped him understand the world. If you are going to bank on an 18th century philosopher as your proof that God is as unlikely as no God, so be it.
If your position is that God is just as likely as no God, I beg to differ. Science is helping us understand more and more every day. God was the early answer to everything we did not know, but science has been helping us put the pieces together. There is evidence of evolution and none of Genesis....none. My position is not based on faith, unless you say it is faith in science and reason. I think it is unreasonable to believe in Adam & Eve when scientific discoveries show that man has evolved from a lesser being. I also think it is unreasonable to believe in a supernatural being that resides in the sky because there is no evidence to support it.
I thought God lived amongst us, and not in the sky.

So i will now ask God to "update" his magic book, so that i dont need faith anymore . simply the understanding of how God wants it to be. Nothing more.

In this picture you can make a strong case that Jillette and Jesus are in fact the same person. Clearly, he faked his own death for PR purposes (it worked... only the Beatles are more popular).
Of course he developed a sense of humor/fun after all these years (maybe always had one, eg hanging out with the whores/hamming it up in the temple etc.)
I'm gonna keep an eye on him from now on, see what happens next (did someone say rapture?).
