a piece of advice to Bo Ryan
when your team is pretty average, plays in a weak conf and cant score, I'd advise against going on TV with the foam #1 finiger prop and holding a pep rally just because you were ranked #1 in the AP poll.
think they went 4-4 the past 3 weeks after his celebration, beating a bunch of stiffs.

Of the 4 losses, 2 were to the #1 team in the land, and the other 2 were to NCAA tournament teams.
Of the wins, 3 were against NCAA tournament teams.
Playing your last 7 games against NCAA tournament teams, with 2 of them being against the #1 ranked and #1 RPI team in the nation is a pretty rough schedule.
Say what you want, but I saw a middle of the pack Big 10 team give "the annointed one" - Florida - all they could handle today to move on.
I'll bet there isn't another team that played their last 7 games exclusively against NCAA tournament teams.
Yes, they had a bad game today, but be real. Their end of season schedule was a gauntlet.
if xavier had a coach who knew how to actually coach in the last 20 seconds of a game , your conf should have ZERO teams in the sweet 16.....
sorry, wisc had a nice little season but they were nowhere near the level of a 2 seed and were the likelist 1-2 seed to not see week 2 of this tourney.
While that may be true, it seems like every year the team that wins the tournament has a very close or lucky win in the tournament each year.
If I remember right, didn't Florida have a game in the 1st or second round last year that they should have lost? I thought they did....
Wisky overachieved all year....It was a nice season, ending with a disappointing loss. But UNLV hit their shots, and even with Wisky storming back to take a 5 point lead late in the second half, they kept their composure and won.
You certainly have to give UNLV credit for that. It showed a lot of heart on their part.
