BDB you are the pro but I am starting to think maybe Sparks can win this thing, or at least get close.
certainly not a pro...but have had good success with idol
i can assure you that the producers will give jordan every chance to win. besides blake, shes the most marketable.
i mean lets be honest, melinda is the best singer, but out of the eleven left, she might be the least marketable. after the taylor debacle last year, they do NOT want melinda to win. Not that she won't, but she will have to overcome some serious editing.

It would seem Melinda and Lakisha are gonna have real problems with some of these theme weeks...BonJovi for example? Sparks seems marketable and can pass off the various genres.

Just for shits and giggles (I promise) I placed a few votes tonight by text message. I voted for Haley (HOT), Sanjaya (Terrible, Gay), Jordin (Will make it after this show), and Melinda (Best voice, good luck making her over).
Well after voting an interesting thing happened. I got a response thanking me and telling me my vote had been received for everyone except Sanjaya. I received them about 10 sec. after I sent them. So I told my wife to send in a vote for Sanjaya and she got no response either. You may be right about him staying but I think they are trying like mad to push him out the door. Just thought it was interesting.

American Idol latest elimination odds
American Idol odds makers at Bookmaker.com report heavy action on Sanjaya Malakar to be the next finalist to be eliminated from the competition.
According to his current elimination odds* Malakar is already out; his odds to be eliminated next went from last Friday's +155* to the current -110*.
Bookmaker.com odds makers have been very accurate in predicting semifinalists and finalists to be voted out. Unless the fine folks at VoteForTheWorst.com (the anti-Idol site supporting the singer of Indian origin) pull a miracle this week's appearance will be the last for Sanjaya.
Phil Stacey (+300*) and Haley Scarnato (+300*) are next in line on this week's elimination row according to odds makers.
Factoring last week results and considering votefortheworst.com being behind Sanjaya Malakar and Haley Scarnato being a girl (females finalists are strong favorite over males) may lead to believe that Phil Stacey, whose current odds to be eliminated next are set at +300*, could be this week's best bet. Every $10 wagered on Stacey would pay out $30 should he be the next to be voted out.

What do people have against Haley? She is not the best voice out there but she is far from the worst. Plus she is the best looker. I don't get it?:shrug: Has this younger generation gone completly gay? The Backstreet Boy, Gina, Sanjay, and Phil are all worse singers than her. That kid with the Afro should be gone just by default. I mean some people can't help the way they look but this Little Orphan Annie look of his is something he has cultivated. If she gets voted off this week I seriously think we have to wonder what we have become as a nation.
The guy with spoilers at the other forum can't get them tonight. I can't get them. BUT, a few of the lesser known sportsbooks that I look at for irregularities have heavy action on Stephanie going home tonight. There were a few internet leaks, but again I don't trust this at all, but it is a possiblity and like I said some smaller books are getting hit with Stephanie elimination money. For example at bookmaker.com (i know chit book, don't play there, but you can see the lines) they have her at -150 to go home. That's not even close to what pre-show lines were and she wasn't that bad. Certainly not the worst. I've already got her at 4.5 to 1 to go home so I'm hoping. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
