Indiana Hoosiers +7.5 W
Virginia Cavaliers +3 P
Purdue Boilermakers +11.5 W
USC Trojans +2 W

Depaul Blue Demons +5

I know Kansas State won its first NIT game, but I believe reality sets in tonight. The Wildcats believed they were going to the Dance. The Demons have been focused on playing in the NIT since their season ended. Depaul has played tough against stiffer competition this season. I think Depaul wins this one straight up, but I'm more than happy to take the generous 5 points!

Still pissed at myself for playing Georgia on Monday night. I should've known better. I definitely shouldn't have posted it. I feel like I forced that play, and it won't happen again. Tonight, I'm riding Depaul again. Sammy Mejia is determined to lead his squad to MSG. Mejia is from the Bronx, and he has already promised his homeboys that they will get to see him play in the Mecca. Air Force had it easy on Monday with the woeful Bulldogs, but not tonight! I'm looking for the Demons to pull the straight up victory. Will gladly take 7 points in this spot.

at capping college hoops anymore...I
can occasionally pick a winner but you start
throwing numbers out there and I'm
horrible....I coattailed ya tonight on Depaul
and I believe I've found my horse to ride
the rest of the College hoops season :mj07:

Let's keep it going! Tonight, I'm going to start with a higher-seeded dog. The Aggies are favored in this game because it's being played in San Antonio, and Douglas-Roberts is listed as questionable. I expect Douglas-Roberts to play, but even if he can't go, Memphis is deep enough to overcome his absence. This Memphis team is better than last year's Memphis team. Last year, everyone expected Memphis to reach the final four, but the Tigers came up short. This year, everyone expected Memphis to make an early exit, and JC's boys appear to be playing with a chip on their shoulder. I love Acie Law, but the Tigers have the quickness and athleticism to matchup with the scintilating guard. There will be a lot of pressure on his teammates to step up tonight. Maybe they will, maybe they won't. The coaching edge goes to JC, due to his experience in these situations, and I think that will be the overriding factor in this game. I expect him to pressure Law from baseline to baseline. Acie won't have much left down the stretch. I'm not worried about the homecourt factor either. In fact, I think this puts added pressure on the Aggies.

Memphis Tigers +3.5

Pittsburgh Panthers +3.5

These two teams are very similar. Both teams play hard-nosed defense, and both teams prefer to execute out of a halfcourt offense. Points will be hard to come by tonight! I always take the dog in games like this. Familiarity breeds success!

Thanks, and good luck to us!

Southern Illinois +9

Okay, I'll take the team nobody is talking about on tonight's card. Southern Illinois might be the most underrated team in the country. I haven't seen any team this year play defense like the Salukis. Again, points will be hard to come by tonight, therefore, there's no way in hell I think Kansas can pull this line. In fact, I think this line is absurd. Kansas will get a scare tonight, trust me!
