If you are referring to the clock, the ball bounced in bounds. It actually should have been less time left b/c they should have stopped it when it was caught on the sideline.

I think on the replay, they went with the whistle. I think it should have been down to about 1.2 secs.

Always tough to make that call, but on the replay, the guy hit his shooting elbow. Point blank range, pretty sure he makes that shot if not fouled.

I hate to see games end at the line, but I also hate when defenses play as physical as they want b/c they "know" the refs won't call anything.

I'm biased b/c on Memphis and ML but on the replay looked like a good call.

The thing I hate about CBS is it MAKES ZERO DIFFERENCE if the ball bounced out of bounds or not.
Last I checked this is not the NFL.
The have to go by the refs whistle when he blew it.
Not sure how the refs determined the time, but it should be on the whistle.
It sounded like the whistle blew just after the ball bounced.
Either way, an extra .5 sec wouldn't have helped.

freeze, of all the people, it is sad to see that post.

cool down and watch the final possession by memphis. we had guys being thrown to the floor by that schwarzenegger look alike guy. dozier was on his back and anderson was fouled twice.

sadly, if calipari presses with about 8 min left - we win by 10. acie (average) law the VIII was worn completely the F' out.

I was all over A&M in that one, and I thought the ending was correctly officiated, or at least sensible decisions were made. There was clearly a foul, A&M didn't even attempt to get position for the rebound(s), and the Memphis defense on the inbounds play was perfect, only leaving open a 6-9 guy who couldn't do much with the ball HAD he caught it. They were lucky to get the ball again, and were lucky to get the ball close enough for the shot they got.

Law's missed layup was a killer, and Memphis outplayed them in the end.
