2000 - halftime score - Michigan State 19, Wisconsin 17.

Everyone blasted those teams (especially Wisconsin) for being so slow and boring...

These teams are VERY similiar......

I agree. I like it better than watching games where the teams run up and down the court running up the score with uncontested layups.

these 2 teams are very athletic compared to 2000 teams... just that they can cover more area and recover quicker.

i like good defense as well.....basketball related defense....not the clutch and grab defense played by a bunch of hacks who have zero offensive ability and are forced to play defense and slow down ball on offense ala the knicks and heat.....more like pressing, jumping the passing lanes, rebounding and pushing the ball like the 90's bulls (ucla is close but still hand-checks, clutches and body blocks quite a bit)

a college game in the high 60's low 70's can still feature great defense, it doesnt have to be 58-51 to be a good defensive game.
