UP another 20 cents last 2 weeks. Now economists looking for a spike on dairy, bread, beef, chicken, pork, basically every thing, because all the corn is going to FLEX FUELS.

what FLEX FUELS, now they are going to try to portrait that these alternative fuels are everywhere, justifying screwing you more. You can't buy these fuels anywhere around me. But yet billions in corn is going to produce these fuels? Wtf:nono:

funny only dip in fuel prices came immediately prior to those all important mid term elections, what a coincidence.

If all this alternate fuel is going to be around, how about Detroit start making thousands of alternative fuel cars immediately, and start putting the auto industry back to work, instead of Chrysler being bankruptcy & sold again.

Its actually really sad how you see some peoples passion when it comes to race but this white collar crime that effects almost everything in society doesn't seem to bother many. Im sure Imus and his probably 200 million will be just fine. Did he deserve to be fired absolutely not but if people put some of that passion into the real bullshit that effects people (like thieves)instead of leaving their heads in their ass the world would be a much nicer place.

Actually, it would be nicer if some people kept their head up their ass.
In truth the thieves are the same people who hijacked Imus. The news media that feeds us all this crap. And then the CEO's who decide we better pull our ads.
Yes prices are out of control but we will take it. They know we will. They even had the nerve to lower prices during the election. Then back up right after. We are being held up without a gun.

Interesting this turns into a bashing CEOs diatribe, when they are making a conscientious decision not to spend tons of shareholder money to advertise their products with an aging out of touch idiot that offended an entire segment of their purchasing audience.

If we were really serious about efficiently manufacturing flex fuels, we would be putting money into hemp (not marijuana) fields which are the best source for these fuels. Let me guess which party will be against THAT idea? Corn is not a productive or cost-efficent substance to move forward on, and the economic effects of that are starting to be felt.

I agree. It's interesting that we constantly turn away from proven eficient alternate energy and keep pushing inneficient sources or pipedream ideas. We had electric vehicles ready for mass production 15 years ago, but then suddenly decided to push hydrogen - which may never work. Now corn ethanol is being pushed, which is not nearly as efficient as other bio feuls. Kinda makes you think they don't really want a good alternate to oil. Still so much money to be made with oil, it does the oil/auto industry a disservice for them to provide us realistic alternatives.
