Stevie, as mentioned earlier I disagree with the percentages, and don't put too much stock in the PNAC stuff.

Perhaps he finds the NORAD standown hard to accept.

Perhaps he finds the fact no jets were scrambled around the Penatgon after an hour and a half.

Perhaps he did some research into a company called AMEC etc

Perhaps i should quit wasting my time on losers that have absolutely zero clue what the the **** they are talking abot.

**** off or look at the shit.

i disagree with the percentages also. I don't even think in this country you could find 84 percent of people who know Bush is president. Not even sure you could find 84 percent of people who even knows what 9/11 is. If you took a poll of the people just in this thread on who had more ties with Bin Laden family Bush and Cheney or Sadam im sure the true nitwits would say Saddam.

ok beertime,
I'm gonna stoop to yo level for a sec. I read that PNAC crap. Or GLANCED over that boring shit anyway. I know damned good and well you didn't read all of that rah rah build our defenses up horse crap. "In sum the 1990's have been a decade of defense neglect".
It doesn't take a fuc@ing rocket scientist to see that our side has been stirring the shit in the mideast for decades. It's been good for defense contractors, good for oil PRICE manipulation, and good for keeping those fu@ks completely off balance. But PNAC reads ..."Generally American strategy in the coming decade is to maintain STABILITY in the mideast while setting conditions for 21st century success." BULLSHIT!
That crap was formulated in 1998 according to the article. I know you probably first heard about it about the same time I did. After 9-11 happened and while the Bush admin was drumming up support for going into Iraq. That's about the time this shit was starting to appear in different political chats and message boards. Like other "think tank" reports, sure it was real, but its timing makes it pretty suspect to me. Bottom line you might put a lotta stock in the shit but it's mostly disinformation in my mind.
Now lets get to the real meat and potatoes. No doubt you believe 9-11 was an inside job. I too believe that there were elements within our govt that at the very least knew it was going down. Myself I do not believe that president Bush was in on the PLANNING of it. I feel that gameplan was in place while Bush was still in Texas myself. My question to you is...IF folks from the west did indeed plan 9-11...in your mind ...WHY?

"the bunker"
if either one of you think that our government...forget the code word "government"....you`re talking BUSH/ROVE/CHENEY/HALIBURTON ........ planned or even had a real idea that 9/11 was going down......then neither one of you could find your way out of a closet with your hand on the doorknob.....

the administration was coming off the closest presidential election in history...there was no guarantee that bush would even be president.....

and 9/11 was what,8 months after inauguration?....they had to put together a cabinet....the transition...appointments...saddam and the u.n. to deal with...

how can you be so delusional?....to think that a plot that would legitimately take thousands of conspirators....involving multiple planes hitting different landmarks....could be generated and run by chimpy mc haliburton.....in less than a year?....

the media`s all over this administration..... all over bush...they`re so far up his ass they smell like laura....

lets go delusional for a second....what if one of the charges failed?...and was discovered?.....

what if just ONE person turned....millionaires like cheney and bush and rove would get executed...their lives, families ruined....

i`m sorry if i`m harsh...tony,you seem like a decent sort....but,somebody has to throw some disinfectant on this "stupidity virus".......

sometimes i`m surprised you guys can figure out how to breathe....

weasle,
"there was no guarantee that Bush would even be president". Yeah you saw the election result, very controversial to say the least!

where do you get this "plot taking THOUSANDS of conspirators"?

You probably fell for the" Oswald acted alone bit too."

I'll bet you thought MAC football was on the up and up too all of last season esp U Toledo.

Weasle...conspiracies HAVE and do happen. There are many unanswered questions in this one. Not the least of which is WHO spread that high grade anthrax afterwards. Don't tell me it was the A-Rabs or wasn't even related to 9-11. I know that you're so set against the idea 'cause your feeble mind can't take an admin you support actually doing such a thing. You and a whole lotta folks couldnt handle the truth. That's exactly why I mentioned earlier it SHOULD remain a conspiracy theory.

nice how you skirted making a definitive statement on the issue by discussing conspiracy theory generalities......

i`ll glean that you don`t buy it from your vague response...

and i`m glad....you seem way to sharp for this tripe...

of interest....

"NIST is currently preparing its final report on the collapse of WTC7, which is expected to be released this spring. In order to address concerns of conspiracy theorists, the organization added “Hypothetical Blast Analysis” to its research, according to a December 2006 progress report. The report also points out that “NIST has found no evidence of a blast or controlled demolition.”

the sad thing is the national institute of standards and technology even finding it necessary to refute the idiotic "controlled demolition" nonsense.....i guess next up, nasa refutes apollo 11 "truthers".....lol

btw...i`m glad rosie wasn`t in building 7.....would have cost the city an extra 20k to have to cart her away to staten island .....

don`t believe everyting rosie says...she`s as dumb as a box of hammers...

something tells me i`ll be back here tomorrow.....so be it...

g`night tony...

weasle,

Sorry I sounded a little brash in the last post but the entire ordeal does stink to high heaven. It's pretty evident that without 9-11 we probably would not have even invaded Iraq under the conditions at the time. The admin certainly seemed hell bent on taking out Saddam. A move I certainly wasn't against. His time was definately up.
I really think there are powers out there that transcends administrations. Clinton didn't take OBL..because he wasn't supposed to. As mentioned before I doubt very much president Bush was in on the planning. Now his daddy is a different matter.
Weasle you know as well as me that intell agencies have pulled off some fantastic jobs in the past. If during their time it was known about it certainly would have been called conspiratorial. Information released in recent years tell of operations like AJAX, CONDOR, and GLADIO that were pretty notorious in their day. I contend that intell agencies have only gotten more notorious over the years. Especially if they're paired with agencies like the Pakistani ISI and Saudi secret service, which I believe is the case with 9-11. Just like you can't fathom the Bush admin doing such....I can't fathom the notion that our intell at the very least wasn't aware. Our FBI investigators being told to back off, the supposed warnings from other intell, the Israeli agents arrested that day, NORAD training exercise timing, all stink. The biggest stink of all though is still that anthrax spread...that made any opposition BACK OFF.

Tony, thanks for answering my question. My only disagreement with you is that you think that if it was planned that Bush knew nothing about it. I am not saying that he is one of the "planners" but I think he is as involved as anyone else.

Stevie,

I never said anything about "Bush knowing nothing about it". I just don't think he was in on much of the "planning" of it. I still see Bush, like Clinton, as "puppets" . Going along with the program and "mouthing" their roles.

He rubs the five biggest nitwits on this site the wrong way and they all posted in this thread. They all throw around the conspiracy word just like pigeons are supposed to. A lot of his stuff is common knowledge but to guys who get played the conspiracy angle they will just insult the messenger without bringing up some facts for the other side.

You pretty much hit that nail on the head!
