I love Brandon Webb but I don't know if I can bet on this team anymore. I knew going in that they don't have much offense but they pretty much handed the game over when they couldn't score a run in the 7th with the bases loaded and nobody out. Also not sure why Young can't catch a flyball in center, which led to the Pads tying it up. I'd love to see the D'Backs come back but with the Pads pen I think that's highly unlikely.

This is why they needed the 3 runs. Valverde is awful. Can't throw a strike with a 3 run lead. How do you walk Mike Cameron of all people???
Congrats to us! I needed that win. Biggest play of the day and I ended up just having a fairly bad day instead of a terrible day. :mj07: Really kicking myself for not betting on the Warriors tonight. Shouldn't have second-guessed myself on that one!
Ditto for me! Diamondbacks give me a bad day instead of a disastrous one. Glad to see they didn't completely waste Webb's stellar outing tonight. That's now 25 innings for SD in their last 2 games (and they play at 12:30 on Thursday).
Great point. They have to be spent. Don't know if I could go against Peavy at home though.
