The Golden State Warriors have agreed to trade Troy Murphy, Mike Dunleavy, Ike Diogu and Keith McLeod to the Indiana Pacers for Al Harrington, Stephen Jackson, Sarunas Jasikevicius and Josh Powell, NBA front-office sources tell ESPN.com's Marc Stein.

The trade is scheduled to be announced later Wednesday.

As a Warriors fan I am loving this !!! Harrington is going to put up some incredible numbers under Nelson and the best part about the trade is the cap room they opened up for future contracts !!!!

Also...don't be fooled by the line tonight...GS did NOT lose any starters...9 points to the LAC...that's still way too much IMO....

As a Pacer fan not real sure how I feel about this trade. I have been very disappointed in Harringto so far this year. Jackson's off court problems are the cause for his demise. I liked Yasacivius .(spelling?) When I heard that they had made a big trade I was hoping that J. O'Neil was one of the players traded. He can sure be moody and pouts when he's having a bad game or not getting the calls. Hosh good luck with these players and let's hope it's a trade that helps both our teams.

LOVE the trade for GST!!!!!!!!!!!! I think Dunleavy needed to get out of GST as he'll be better off somewhere else. He'll probably do very well in IND.....Stephen Jackson is a total stud when his mind is on the court!

when i heard about a trade between these 2 teams,my gut feeling was indiana was getting murphy for jackson.this is an image trade for the pacers, they hit the jackpot (atleast for them)in getting 2 american white guys that can play, for their most ghetto player..think what you want ,but this is the only reason this trade was done by larry, with pressure from above..good trade for gstate.

just felt like bringing this thread up,b/c some people are surprised by their play...i won some major $$ betting on them after the trade...the only surprise would be them playing this way with dunleavy and murphy..imo they would have not even been close to making the playoffs with those to scrubs on the team..just look at what indy did after that trade.....don nelson/chris mullin exec & coach of the year.

Nice job cashing in on an improved team. Do yourself a favor and avoid playing GS +2.5 in the 2H tonight. Mavs roll in 3Q.

I agree - GREAT trade for GS. I have only watched about 10 NBA games this year, and I will only watch two teams - the nuggets and the warriors (well and their opponents but I guess I can't avoid that). Love their new line-up...scrappy and fast. Pacers :mj07:

Well we think alike somewhat...although the nets and lakers are two of my LEAST favorite teams...haha! I would have watched more nugs and warriors games this year but was traveling a lot and didn't have a home for months...and no nba tv. I was in Colorado when the nugs and warriors played b-b games and that was a thrill to watch! They both have lots of great players - I love Richardson and Monta Ellis (on a side note I have a protrade acct and "bought" Ellis at the beginning of the year and he is up over 150%!!) and the Nugs have lots of sleepers - Nene, Camby, even Blake has his moments where I say - dam who is THAT white boy??

Anyway, yeah - my two fav teams, routing hard for the Warriors...would be exciting to have an upset. Tired of all these Texas teams...haha
