Glavine might be 6 victories shy of 300 Wins but he could be just what the Cubs need; Barrett will most likely get the night off, Jones will be nowhere near the field and if Lee needs the night off, Ward actually has decent numbers off of Glavine. Here's the career Avgerages of present Cubs Vs. Glavine:

* Ramirez...20 AB .500 Avg. 3 HR
* Blanco....11 AB .455 Avg. 0 HR
* Izturis...17 AB .412 Avg. 0 HR
* Floyd.....33 AB .394 Avg. 2 HR
* Ward......08 AB .375 Avg. 0 HR
* Soriano...16 AB .375 Avg. 1 HR
* Theriot...03 AB .333 Avg. 0 HR
* Lee.......52 AB .288 Avg. 2 HR
* Barrett...35 AB .229 Avg. 0 HR
* Derosa....08 AB .125 Avg. 1 HR
* Jones.....08 AB .000 Avg. 0 HR

:-/ i tend to think that all stats like this where the AB # is such a small sample they can be deceiving either way. probably Derek Lee with 52 ABs is the only one you can really say is reliable. and where are the BB #s? i love your posts btw, so informing and you always post stuff that most people never even think about looking at.
