Prius better for city driving, Civic better if you do more highway driving. If you get a manual drive, you can improve acceleration power.

Yep, but top speed is less than MPG. If you drive a lot you will have this thing wore out in 2 years.

I have no idea what top speed is she works 50 miles out town so it all highway personally I won't own anything under 240 horsepower :00hour

Aren't these essentially throwaway cars that aren't worth diddly once the batteries wear out?

Don't get me wrong Vinnie, I don't drive a race car (Buick Rendezvous), but I like being able to go up a hill with the air conditioner running and not have Amish people give me the finger as they go by.

Truth be known, Amish people have their chit
together, the rest of us are in such a hurry to
get to the bank, we forgot about living.

I've had my Civic Hybrid for over 4 years. Haven't had a single problem. When I need more speed up the hills, I just drop to 4th gear. I suppose one day that battery will need replacement, but it's a long way off. This car might last me forever. I still average 49+ mpg overall. I couldn't be happier with this vehicle. It's saved me a lot of dough, been very reliable, and I never feel like it's lacking power if I need it. ...Then again, how often do you really "need" so much power? ....Other than just to be a jackass on the road or try to compensate for something else of course.

ah yes, the short dick syndrome, where the local
badass has to jack his pickup up to 8 feet and put
the biggest wheels and tires on so he can be the
biggest baddest mo fo in the county :mj07:

can't wait to see how long this BIGGEST SUV YOU
CAN GET IN SOCAL lasts, knowing these idiots out
here, it'l take $8/gal to change their perception.
