too early for that but i already capped the presidential election & like my bet with you more & more...save your money for my dinner.
You are wrong on this one. I've also capped the election, and I'm very confident that you've ignored some key statistics and trends which point to a guaranteed Democratic victory. You do have the benefit, however, of me constantly forgetting the wager. By the time I win the bet, you can probably name the price. ....pardner.

dude if you're relying on either obama, edwards, or clinton winning the next presidential election, you better check your history.....here's a trend for you...an active senator hasn't won the presidential election since 1960...& even that was fixed.

but not to worry if somehow a miracle does happen & a democrat wins, i will step forward & honor the bet even if you forget about it...i always pay my debts.

but you should do a search & i'm sure some here remember it.

If you are basing the results entirely on the Senator stat, then you are in trouble. That only works when there's reasonable opposition.

Your only hope is Gulianni. I would be happy enough if he wins, that I won't mind honoring the wager. ...Then again, he might have to go independent just to run in the finals.

The country don't like GOP and they won't like GOP anymore in 18 months. One of the Dems will establish themselves at the front and never look back.

Dems would have good chance to win if they had party candidate--but will be hard with all 3 leaders coming from the left--believe it or not anyone one of the 3 will lose your normal Dem voter and get drilled by the independents who will decide election.

A lot could happen between now and 08--and most the worse things would make all 3 positions weaker.

Its one thing to get senate votes--and believe it or not I think the rebs got what deserved for abandoning their contract with America principals--but you consider economy and all that only leaves the war--and doubt many would relish any of the 3 as commader in chief the other next in line and Pelosi to follow--that is any one outside of syria-iran and nk :)

Believe it would be more interesting if the Dems won--just for the sake of them having to answer media questions on issues they now avoid.

and as I said before--if the shit hits the fan with any of these kum-ba-ya's in power--there will prob be bounties put on liberals. :SIB

and Smurph I told you before the day is coming when they win and never look back (when minorities become the majority)--but not just yet.

you're dreaming....you're hanging out in california too much...

do you think that the american public will have confidence in either obama or edwards to deal with foreign affairs ?

not likely....& with hillary flip flopping all over the place to please the far left...imo she doesn't have a chance. i just hope that a moderate in the democratic party steps forward....

Dubya had only left the country once and didn't know the name of Pakistan's president when he was elected. What made him so magically qualified? His ignorance with foreign affairs continues to burn the country on a daily basis.

I don't think 'confidence' is a word that will come into play. More likely 'change' will be the motivation.

I case you haven't noticed, the overwhelming majority don't like the decisions of the GOP in the following years. You are stuck in the afternoon of 9/12. It's time to move on and see what's been happening...
