Upstairs watching sports on the big TV.
you are right...

you are right...

While at the craps table at the Bellagio last week I felt the power of his name.....among the faithful I heard their anguish.....screams of "Jesus H Christ, give me a break" among other sacred chants were fairly rampant as fortunes ebbed...

There is a reason this country was founded on the principle of a seperation of Church and State.

When you have metal detectors in high schools throughout the nation, chances are you need to rethink your "principles".

I truly hope it never happens. But those who blaspheme may find themselves in a situation where, amidst the moaning and wailing and agonizing screams, they're trying to find an answer to "Now, who's the fool?"

Vanished into vortex
Buddy

When God begins, BEGINS to keep his promises from the bible then we will concern ourselves with the high crime of taking his name in vain.

Talk about arogant!

The same could also be said for people who base their life on the "word" of a mythological invisible man in the sky.

Here is what i find very strange about religion. If you find you need it in your life and it somehow helps fine run with it no big deal to me. Its the people who push it on you and I'm sure most can agree with this. Sixfive and Buddy in no way am i saying the two of you are pushing this on us. My question is this. Buddy can see the con the right does by using religion to get votes. Sixfive after seeing Ted Haggart go down and also the
author of tempted faith who basically said Bush and his cronies were laughing behind
the religious rights backs because they knew they were pigeons and naive still believes in these guys. I just don't get it. Two religious guys one to me is completely fooled and the other who see's this con. Here is what even bothers me more. Does anyone ever type a post and know they forgot a letter or two and when you want to correct it you cant because when you type the letter the one in front of it disappears? How the heck do you fix this?

The kids already believe in God...just like the overwhelming majority of our prison population. God isn't the answer and never has been.
