How can the US government allow this to go on? The top general is already talking about more time past Sept. The Repubs know that if we stay there they're are going to lose their jobs come election day. They will have to go out and get real jobs, ones that their employers expect results. Bush should have never been President, he has destroyed so many American lives, and for what? I use to think that it was for oil, now i think he just does not know what the f#ck he's doing. Hitler did'nt know he was losing the war until 10 days before he committed suicide. Bush has bankrupted our military and left America less safe, where will it all end?

It's a rough start. If progress was truly being made, we wouldn't continue having such a high rate of casualties.

It will stop give it a little time. The POS republicans are not gonna lose their jobs without a fight. They will finally come to their senses (when they should have years ago)when they need to. To the people who can see clearly it will show them once again the republicans true colors. To others who get conned every single time by this group they will most likely think it was the right time and praise them.

Seriously, does anyone actually think the current crop of republican legislators - and especially administration-related personnel - are going to have an issue getting jobs after they leave office? I mean for crying out loud, they certainly could get jobs with the oil and energy companies, car companies, pharmaceutical companies and health-related companies, to name a few.

Maybe, just maybe, they could get a lobbying job for some of these employers? How about a soft landing as returning CEO of Halliburton? Dare to dream...

Don't forget the POS Dems who caved in to Bush. They were voted in to stop the madness in Iraq and they didn't. They have blood on their hands too. This surge is a sick joke. As soon as we leave anywhere it is just as bad as it was before we got there.

I hate to say it but in our government Dems and Repubs are the same, brought and paid for. It's not Dems vs. Repubs it's the rich against the poor. Once politicians are voted in they start to make deals to line their pockets with gold. The 2 parties are there just to keep the people divided, because if the people were united the government would be in trouble. The Repubs are ready to dump Bush so election time they can keep their soft jobs and the Dems are afraid of their shadows, they want to keep their seats too. The government needs to find a backbone and do what's right for the nation. Today is the 7th of Jun and 23 soldiers have already died in Iraq. Not only has the US been sucked into this war but our government keeps us in it against the will of the people. How can they follow bush, who's never done anything worthwhile in his life. If there is a hell his place is reserved and everyone he has killed will be waiting for him in the after life.

Here is the answer.. Ron Paul

Ron Paul - Five Million Dollar Man?

Ron Paul - Five Million Dollar Man?
Thursday, June 07, 2007 - FreeMarketNews.com

Congressman Ron Paul?s donations have moved up - not by hundreds of thousands - but by millions as a result of his debate performances and groundswell of support on the Internet and in New Hampshire, observers close to the campaign say.

The move is especially impressive since as of March 31, 2007, he had perhaps $500,000 on hand (see candidate estimates below).

FMNN had previously reported ? after the GOP presidential debate in South Carolina - that candidate Ron Paul?s (R-Tex) donations, large and small, had nearly doubled.

http://www.freemarketnews.com/WorldNews.asp?nid=42336

Now observers close to the campaign are revealing ? with some astonishment ? that donations to the campaign in recent weeks have pushed the total up to perhaps $4 or $5 million.

?That?s a huge number at this stage,? says one observer. ?That starts to put him in a position where he can compete ? state by state, anyway ? with the major candidates.?

And this source added, ?Of course, it?s hard to tell because the numbers keep changing ? and thus nobody at the campaign has a firm count, at least not hour to hour. But the numbers are big. It?s definitely over three, probably over four, and if it hasn?t hit five yet, it will soon.?

At this rate, say observers, Ron Paul could have something like $10 million in his coffers inside of several months, and the total could keep growing ? so long as he continues to hit on themes that Americans support ? how to return the country to a true, small government, constitutional republic and how to end the war in Iraq.

To be sure such amounts are somewhat speculative. But to put the amount of money Ron Paul is said to have raised recently in perspective, here are the figures of cash on hand for GOP candidates as of March 31, 2007:

http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/money/gop.html

Sam Brownback
cash-on-hand: $806,626

Jim Gilmore
cash-on-hand: $90,107

Rudy Giuliani
cash-on-hand: $11,949,735

Mike Huckabee
cash-on-hand: $373,918

Duncan Hunter
cash-on-hand: $272,552

John McCain
cash-on-hand: $5,180,799

Ron Paul
cash-on-hand: $524,919

Mitt Romney
cash-on-hand: $11,863,653

Tom Tancredo
cash-on-hand: $575,078

Tommy Thompson
cash-on-hand: $139,723

Is he one of the terrorist school bus drivers? Did we finally catch one? ...Oh yeah, it's that other phenomenon you read about on WND. He's a cyber-terrorist out to sap our morale and turn us against each other. :142smilie

it`s to the letter what spytheweb tries to do.....to continually post casualty numbers....

to not give any indication of their motives or any religious implications.....

btw...jabberwocky......since when is "eggplant" so damned offensive?....

you`ve never seen me get started...
