My dad, rest his soul, was a true character...my mother passed in 1973. Dad never remarried, but was quite active till he passed in 1999 (drinking, poker with the boys, walleye fishing, and more drinking and poker with the guys)
He was 72, and found dead by the 40 year old wife across the street, whom he was banging ..
He always was a character, I could write a book on his many escapades....
All this Jehova Witness prattle brings a good story to mind. Our neighborhood (parma hts ohio) was plagued by the Jehovas...
I came home from work one day and he was in a particullary good mood, I asked him what was up.
"The Jehova's won't be back" I asked him why....
" I saw some coming down the street and one was a good looking young lady...I answered the door in my underwear, smoking a stoogie, holding a bottle of booze in one hand and invited them in.....'' we never to my knowledge ever had a visit again.
Years later I poured some of his ashes in Vegas in the garden by the "big breasted statues" per his request....(now a walkway by an outdoor amphitheater) Caesers Palace.
RIP Dad, you were truly unique.
