They should hang their flag at their High School in Mexico then.

It was more of a vandalism thing than anything else. There were not any students of Montebello HS involved. It was done by other outsiders and hooligans from some rival school. They fixed the flag as soon as they could. Now everytime immigration is a big topic that pic gets emailed around and the school's administartion gets overrun with angry calls and emails ...most of course don't do research and think it just happened. They try to explain, but it probably doesn't do any good. People really need to not assume everything they get sent to them or see in blogs is accurate or current.

wow, funny thing is i am speaking to their college bound students thursday!
i wasn't aware of this incident plus story said pasadena police responded to the incident but montebello has their OWN police department.
not sure what to make of this...
