This kid is a very good point guard and that is it. this wasn't good defense that stopped him it was over blown hype that stopped him. when Parker went thru the lane everyone collapse on him to. I'm not defending Lebron and I think he's somewhat overhyped but McGrady? How can you complain about Lebron James for his playoff failures when Tracy McGrady has STILL never won an nba playoff series. Yes, I know he plays in the West and you will use that but he also had a very good big man around him this year and there was no reason they should have lost to Utah.

One man isn't gonna win anything in basketball. I wouldn't say Lebron or Mcgrady failed in the playoffs because one man isn't gonna beat anyone. Mcgrady is one of my NBA good ole boys so you will never see his full potential but when he is allowed to play he is fantastic and a top five defender in this league. A very good shooter. Don't worry tho because you guys will make me eat crow sooner or later because if the league went this far to promote Lebron he will get a title. Shack was another overrated player but he got four i think because he was the NBA puppy like Lebron is today. He only deserved one and had three handed to him. Now when the NBA plays in the world championship they would be crazy not to put Lebron at point. He would be a terrific point guard but it looks like his career will never go there. By the way i think Houston just made a huge trade to get them to the next level. Getting rid of that stiff Howard to get Mike James was a fantastic move for them.

I am not defending James but you are the one placing all the blame on James for losing to San Antonio yet when I Bring up McGrady you say "it's a team game and not McGrady's fault". I don't care one way or the other but you can't make up one set of rules for a player you think is overrated and then turn around and defend another player that is almost identical.

I know he is only 22, but to get to the next level he has to develop a 15-18 foot jump shot. Bowen dared him to shoot and it is easy to guard someone a couple of feet off of them. He is a talent no doubt, but this Cav team stinks and is arguably the worst team ever in the finals...he got them there and will continue to do so because the East is terrible.
