thought the same thing Kick about the Penn fight. Odds are to high for me and Penn just doesn't look in shape (but who knows how long that show has been down). I still think Penn wins but im not gonna change bets because of odds. No No in my book. I thought the overall series was pretty good. Especially the fight where the three kids got kicked out of the house. I don't see Diaz losing either. These Diaz kids are great on the ground.

Weasal shamrock fight is friday night. Christ i got to go back cause im fighting with my brother who sas Kimbo fights friday night. Just to much shit on this week. Dont know what to watch. How can i miss the boxing match but i got to see the Penn fight but for goodness sakes what about the Mercer fight? Good to be a fight fan this weekend. Last night i was watching the highlights for the Baroni shamrock fight and it said Friday night. Pinnacle usually has this shit dead on so i will see what they have for times.

This is not including the Hatton fight. MMA i kinda like the Emerson kid over maynard. Maynard didn't impress me that much. For these odds to be this high it might be worth a shot. Now the Hatton fight Pinnacle has two times for it. These also are pacific times. I would assume the Hatton fight takes place at 11 eastern time and not 3 eastern unless it is somewhere i don't know about.

i`ve seen alot of gamburyon and murilo rua sentiment at mma weekly(even though the rua/villasenor poll was close).........

i`m worried about diaz` strength....that tall inexperienced dude threw him around quite a bit in his last fight.....he could be on his back for 3 rounds...

still...i may ride with you guys on diaz...

and rua has fought much tougher guys than villasenor....he lost to most of `em...still,he was competitive....

i`ll wait till tomorrow and probably take very small plays on diaz....and maybe villasenor....

on second thought,i might just leave villasenor alone...

buentello vs carter williams looks like a war..both stand-up guys.....at +140,williams may just have the better chin...and some hellacious kicks...

and i really want to take shamrock as the dog.....

if he can hang in for a round or two i think he can out-cardio baroni....baroni`s dangerous...but on the ground,this is a mismatch....

i think several of these fights are scheduled for ........5 ROUNDS!......

i guess that means theres a belt involved....

After watching the ultimate fighter last night (the repeat) I was totally wrong about Maynard. This time i kinda watched it like a scout where i need to get some info for a future bet. No way i take Emerson in that fight. I think Emersons style is taylor made for Maynard. Kick you are right. Now the other fight Manny,who won to be in the finals ,basically did nothing but lay on the Lauzon. Im all over Diaz in this one. I do have a problem with the size difference tho. Can Nate get him in any submissions? His arms are so short as well as his body where it could be tough to grab anything on him. Still gonna go Nate tho. To me it look like Lauzon didn't have the greatest of ground skills while Maynard is an all american wrestler which to me would be more troubling for Nate then Manny would be.

I think you're nuts to lay anything in mma over -300 or so, those tiny gloves and submissions do strange things.

I like mercer btw, both are supposedly training for ground but something tells me kimbo will try to outpunch mercer first, then take him down and if the fight goes any length, mercer should be in better shape even at his age.

but,i would be absolutely shocked if pulver beats penn again....

the guy`s older...and he`s a bit one dimensional...


penn is called maybe one of the best pfp mma guys out there....maybe...i`m not so sure....

but he`s been less than scintillating of late..lost 3 of his last 4.....he loses to pulver again,and i think that fans may have to rethink their appraisal of him...

his cardio`s been suspect more than once...he never looks in tip top shape...

he loses here and he should not be considered on the same level as hughes and gsp......

that said,i expect him to be goosed here...revenge...a more complete game...youth...and i have him in a nice parlay...he`d better fricking win...

imo,the pressures on penn...this win is crucial for him....

he wants to be considered a pfp guy...hell,even in the mix....he`d better win here...
