fox to show(tonight at 9) controversial film,"muslims against jihad" that pbs nixed

tonight(saturday) at 9 p.m. eastern.....actually this isn`t islam vs islamist,but it`s a companion film...very similar....and please don`t let the fact that fox is showing this queer the deal for all the fox haters....this film was funded by pbs...then shit-canned....makes one curious to see what the hub-bub is all about...

i really don't get pbs on this.....we all want to hear more about peaceful,anti-jihadist muslims, but when one tries to show them, it is censored...

i don`t know whether they`re scared...or what the problem is....

but it should be refreshing and encouraging seeing the segment of islam that doesn`t condone jihad get some prime time exposure...if it does in fact,represent the supposedly peaceful islamic majority...


i`m curious to see the film and try to determine why pbs banned it.....

i`ll have to dvd it because of all the fights on tonight...but if anyone watches it(i`ll stay up and check it out)and cares to kick the can tomorrow,i`ll see you then......

Had I been argumentative, I would probably state that liberals just hold the US and their government to a higher standard while conservatives just want to be better than ass-backward arab states. And that's what you may perceive to be hate.

WELL Fox is trying to make this more about PBS. But WHAT it is about we all new already. We lost many good soldiers and spent billions on people who will kill there own children. And of course each other in the name of whom ever. I see much was about our friends in Pakistan who practice the same. So we are going to change them. I don't think so. They say there risking there lives. What about our soldiers lives.
By the way Frank Gaffeny is not a conservative much. Of course not??

PBS doesn't believe in freedom of speech. PBS won't let conservatives make documentaries. Fox is a beacon of freedom and the truth.
There's really bad islamofascist on Western soil and they use the same laws of democracy to destroy demoracy. They beat the shit out of their women when they speak their mind. Saudi money is financing the terror. Moderate muslims are getting it from both sides (Westerners who think their terrorists and Fascists who think their too soft on the West). Young Muslims can escape the dangers of extremism by becomng a muslim rapper.

It sounds like the documentary was simply not informative or inciteful enough - and that's why it didn't make the cut for PBS.

I really can't see what kind of hidden agenda PBS would have. Generally speaking, this is the kind of thing they show. Maybe they just have standards of quality that this flick didn't meet.:shrug:
