Chasing the Next Dime...
Finally getting to the 21st century with this stuff. FOund out the internet is not just for porn!! :mj07:

Anyway what are you bill gates types using these days. Should I use Limewire, or does anyone have a step by step guide for using torrents as not sure which one to use, any advice?

TIA

Bearshare.com easy to use and lots of good stuff on there. Download speeds are usually good as long as there are a lot of people sharing the file that you want to get.

torrents are much better for quality, availability, and file integrity.

get a client such as bittornado and visit sites lite filelist dot org and bitsoup dot org, two of the best torrent sites around.

don't mean to scare ya, but limewire can be a minefield sometimes and have a few viruses or trojans in some files.

torrents are much safer. but limewire still works, just riskier.

Thanks to all I appreciate it again. Will check out some torrent sites.

I've been using the bitcomet client (http://www.bitcomet.com/) and then mininova.org to search for torrents. I've watched all 4 seasons of entourage this way :)

So start by downloading the bitcomet or another client. Then, you go to torrent search engines like mininova.org, click on the one you want to download, and it will open up bitcoment or your other client to download the files. Choose files with a lot of sources for faster downloads.
