Me to AR...but like we both know, it really doesn't mean anything till the cleats hit the grass this fall...been doing some back capping of last year also...absolutely amazing how I can always come up with a winning system the summer after the games have been played!...:00hour

Great thread AR,

strategies from proven winners!

the last few years I have only read Steele and Lindys mag, but I will be a regular on a few of those sites judge and IE listed.

I read the Steele preview before the season and refer to it for roster info, etc, throughout the season.

During the season, I read scout.com and local reports through sites similar to what Al and IE posted above. I use yahoo and covers for past performances and stats.

Good call Judge.

Right now they are doing their 2007 previews. Looks like they are covering 3 or 4 teams a day.

I don't always agree with their analysis during the season, but it's the first place I go to on Monday mornings during the season.

I've been wasting time gathering stats and rankings from last season along with preseason rankings for this year and putting them in spreadsheets, making up stupid equations with crazy factors I make up, and putting it all together to pop out the results of this coming years games. I must say it works really well for last seasons games, which means nothing for this coming season. That's why I've tried to incorporate some preseason stuff to balance it out.

Anyway, I'm sure it's a pile of crap. But it sure passes the time between now and the first games and it also gets you excited about the season.

Been doing the same SamBone, but hoping it's not a waste of time. The problem is it looks so easy 'after' the season is over...but it's having the balls to back that dog/fav somewhere midway thru the season. A good example from last year was Rutgers when they were at Pit getting 6 points...and for most of their games for that matter, especially as a dog. One thing for sure, we won't be getting any big break from the man with them this year...just hope their are a few teams to 'take their place.'

I will look to fade Florida early.

Have the same feeling Cie...On another note, if Georgia's QB plays like he did in that bowl game against Va Tech they could be real tough because they already have the "D"...fwiw, I've already marked down their game at the Vols as a payback game?

I expect a nice season for the boys in Athens, GA. They just need to beat Florida for once.

we'll know how good georgia will be in their first game vs. ok. st. they'll probably win this game but they are facing a very experienced potent offense with just 4 returning starters on defense.
