I have said it before and I will say it again.
GATTI HAS ALWAYS SUCKED AND NOTHING HAS CHANGED.

I think everytime williams gets hit in the body he ducks and its looking worse than it is.

Antonio failed me on that one.
+340 on Gomez.
-600 on Margarito.

I was not impressed with Williams at all,but he was active enough to win. His punching power is weak and those backhanded jabs are garbage.

If Margarito wins the 12th then it was a draw.Or if he wins the 12th and the ref took a point for holding instead of a constant last warning,he even wins it.
Oh well.Glad some of you won instead of all of us losing.

margarito dug an enormous hole.....i had williams winning 5 of the first 6 rounds convincingly...round 9 convincingly...and round 12.....

the others were arguable,imo...

wide punches vs straighter ,more pinpoint shots...albeit with little power....

williams is a pitty pat guy....but i think he clearly won...

margarito looked alot like he did vs clottey early and santos...

lord he`s slow...i bet cintron wishes he could have a do-over...

I agree with everything you said.
Just found it odd that the writers saw it different than most.
Cintron doesnt need a do-over if youlisten to HBO.
They act like that fight never even happened.

hey, we can disagree....that 12th round goes margarito`s way and it`s a majority draw....

i think that williams may have to set down on his punches in future fights....he fights margarito again and i doubt that margarito shows all that early respect the next time...i`m not sure that williams can hurt margarito...

btw,kegray....did la rosa "muff"(groan) her fight up,or did she pull it out?...

do you have a result?....can`t get on the the mma weekly site...

I heard Kobald pulled out and a late sub came in for her.
Didnt see any results from the card other than Roman Zentzov lost which was a pretty big upset.

i got on....she pulled it out....thank god....

"Tara Larosa defeats Kelly Kobold via arm bar submission in round 4. A girl wins.

You know when I like to watch girls fight. When they give me a hard on, that's when."

love the commentary....that`s a strange bunch over at mma weekly....

here`s the rest...can`t vouch for them,but they`re probably correct...

BodogFight, 7/14/07

1. Mark Burch d. Yoshiki Takahashi (R1) by KO.
2. David Love d. Eben Oroz (R3) by split decision.

4. Chael Sonnen d. Amar Suloev (R1) by TKO (strikes).

Vegas Baby !!
Ahhhhhh found it. Its with the Gatti card. So sweet.

Oh, ye of little faith !

Sponge, what did the Jones fight go off at ??

I was at the WSOP all day and missed getting a wager on Jones. I'm originally from the same town as Hanshaw. He can't carry enough weight to fight at almost 180 !!

Seems as if Jones toyed with him for most of the fight. Funny how the judges saw it:
114-113
117-110
118-109

i had Jones going off anywhere from 220/180 To 303/220 at sports interaction Pinny had it at 221/201 11.5 rounds over with the juice anywhere from -140 to -150. I only caught glimpses of the fight but it looked like the same old Jones stuff. He laid on the ropes and the other guy just whaled away on him. Then when Jones fought he was quicker and would do all that cocky stuff where you just want him to get his head ripped off ala Mason Dixon.

I agree with you weasel and im not sure why people are ducking this guy. I think Mayweather would eat him up. Those wide sloppy punches Mayweather wouldn't get hit once. That hole he dug was huge. Shame Williams fist are not as hard as his jaw. I didn't think this was that close but it was getting closer. Don't know what Margirito was thinking in round 12. Now i go back to my old thoughts of did Williams do enough to take away a guys title. This question i refuse to answer since i bet Williams.

unlike cory spinks, who ran the whole fight, williams definitely did enough to take the title. he was too fast and busy the first half, and held his own down the stretch, and won the 12th, what a champion should do, close the show.

Williams outcalssed Margarito, and I bet Margarito and I have no problem saying it. Romi was dead on with his Williams play.

Amhl, im a firm believer that a champ should get every close round. Mararito really didn't even have a scratch on him but yes this is a lot different then Spinks. Williams fought all night and was there to be hit. I think it was a good decision. he simply out worked Margarita.
