i thought i would list this because it's a little different that what the other's have listed...

i disagree with a few of these...

i don't think wisc., with a new qb will finish higher than michigan, eventhough the wolves will be replacing a few players on defense.the reason why they picked the badgers over mich. is because their match-up will be played at wisc.

i think texas will be in the national title hunt...& i think vt will finish at a higher seed than #9. i see them finishing up the season with maybe 1 loss (lsu) for the year.

i also think ucla has a good chance of beating out calif. for the #2 spot in the pac 10.

i like the so. fla. team to surprise a few people this year.

1.usc
2.w.virginia
3.wisconsin
4.lsu
5.michigan
6.fla.
7.oklahoma
8.texas
9.virginia tech
10.louisville
11.calif.
12.arkansas
13.penn st.
14.auburn
15.ohio st.
16.georgia
17.ucla
18.missouri
19.rutgers
20. nebraska
21.tenn.
22.clemson
23.tcu
24.orgon st.
25.boise st.

does anybody else have any opinions on where the teams will finish up.

Hey AR is that the girl from Wedding Crashers? The crazy one with Vince Vaughn.

My opinions. Wisconsin too high(badger fan here)
Nebraska too low
Missouri to high

yes, me too! she's hot and as classy as movie star can get, imo, but I shouldn't have said that girl because apparently we have someone that doesn't know who she is :scared

by the way, bring Neb down to 25 and bump Boise St. up, I like that. going to have to agree with you on Mizzou. other than that, I might put LSU or Fla ahead of Wisky. o, and don't like Auburn at 14, but what ya do! one more thing, Bama cracks the top 25

the only bump in the road that i see for usc is their game at calif....but i think they'll win that & go undefeated.

i tend to agree with you about w. virginia...they play 2 tough games on the road....at so. fla & at rutgers...& even their road game at cin. may be tough. they also play louisville but that's at home.

there is a chance that both boise at hawaii will be a game with 2 undefeated teams & the winner will win the wac.

i don't think fla. will even crack the top 10 this year because tebow is an untested thrower & they will be replacing too many starters on defense this year.

i agree with you about bama..think saban takes them to the next level.

usc with only 1 loss in that schedule still should play in the title game over an unbeaten big east team :nono:

AR, me and you are night and day on the Gators,
nothing wrong with that, :toast:
I also believe in karma, and we are night and day
on LSU, :toast:
But we are on the same page on several fronts
including USC, :Yep:
I don't care what anybody says, USC will be in the
NC game, everyone else is playing for #2. As much
as I despise PC, he has all the weapons. No one
else comes close.

My opinion is Penn State is WAY Too High. Morelli sucks and it's tough to win when you can't score. Wisky, Michigan, Ohio State, and maybe Purdue will be better in the Big 10.

Arkansas is very high considering they aren't good besides the RB position. I think teams will contain McFadden this year and Arkansas will struggle to a 7-5 or 8-4 type of season. I like LSU, Florida, Auburn, and maybe even South Carolina, Tennessee, and Alabama to be better than Arkansas this season. One player doesn't make a team.

USC will lose at least one and maybe two regular season games. I know they're loaded, but upsets happen and Booty isn't the second coming either. USC is still replacing a number of high Smith and Jarret which isn't easy.

I'm predicting a breakout season from Missouri. They have all the pieces offensively to be very tough plus they get Nebraska in Columbia. If Missouri knocks off Nebraska and is undefeated, watch out...

Arky is not a top 25 team and will struggle this season imo. Too much BS went on during the off season for my liking. I have them behind LSU, AUB, and Bama in the SEC west. Too many key players lost.

Offensively, they are 1 dimensional, as I do not have any confidence in Dick despite a clear NFL caliber WR in Monk.

Defensively, they should struggle vs. the pass after losing stud cover corner and stud pass rusher.

Al---

I agree completely with your Gator assessment. I have no confidence in Tebow. The mass turnover in defensive starters will present major concerns as well. Tebow may prove me wrong, but I will begin the season looking to fade the Gators on a weekly basis.

As for Bama, I was once in love w/ Saban, based mainly on the fact that he won a title. Even though LSU lost several games they shouldn't have under Nick, he did get the Tigers multiple SEC titles and multiple BCS bowl wins.

The problem I see is that LSU has no in-state rival for the top LA players. LA has the most players in the NFL per capita of any state. Mississippi is second, I believe. Saban was able to own Louisiana, and pluck a few studs from Texas, Arky, Miss, Bama and Fla. Bama will be in a battle for players in their own state. Also, I feel Saban has lost some credibility with the way he handled his departure from Mich St, LSU and Miami Dolphins. Furthermore, Tubberville is not afraid of Saban. Don't quote me on this, but I recall Aub under Tubbs was 3-2 over Saban head to head. I may be off on this, because it would appear they faced each other more than 5 times, but I do not have time to look it up right now.

sorry dd but have to disagree with you about missouri. true their offense should be potent but their defense has lost 6 starters from last year's team.

here is their schedule....

@illinois
@miss.
w. mich.
ill. st.
nebraska
@okla.
tex.tech
iowa st.
@colorado
tex. a & m
@kan. st.
kansas

imo their first game will not be so easy. ill. should be a very improved team & may just beat missouri. then they play neb., okla.,& tex. tech b2b2b. i think they will be very fortunate to win 2 of 3 of those games, but they also could lose all 3. then they play tex. a & m & @ kan st b2b & those will also be very tough games. so there's 6 tough games in my opinion & that will determine what kind of season missouri will have. however, fwiw, street & smith picks them to beat out neb.in their division.

cie..

i read some place that saban stated that his biggest mistake was leaving lsu & taking the dolphins job. probably because of what you stated in the 2nd paragraph. but i think saban is a quality coach & should have bama contending for the sec crown in a few years.

Al--

I'll shoot you an email shortly with some private info reagrding your post.

I guess we'll see how it shakes out for Saban at Bama, but I know he will be at Bama for the long haul regardless. I sure wish he had returned to ncaa in a different conference. Way too much coaching talent in the SEC for my liking as an LSU supporter. Especially given that we are stuck with Less, I mean Les;)
