Try & get Parker or Addai

Addai will be gone by the time my pick comes around(10th pick) but parker might be available. i have to take 2-RB's back to back. if i dont then i will onlu have 1 decent RB and all the rest will be scrubs

Travis Henry will flourish in the Denver running scheme. Hell, he had a huge year behind our line last year. That is, if he doesn't partake in the :weed: again. All RBs have big years with Denver and Henry is GOOD

Henry is a dope smokin fumble machine. He won't do squat.

I would keep Steve Smith. In 2005, he led or tied for the NFL lead in receptions (103), receiving yards (1563), and receiving touchdowns (12). In 2006, he missed weeks 1 and 2 becasue of injury, but he still put up 83 receptions, 1166 receiving yards, and 8 receiving touchdowns. Average his 2006 stats on 16 games and he would have had 95 receptions (3rd in NFL), 1332 yards (3rd), and 9 touchdowns (6th). Those are the best numbers over the past 2 seasons of any wide receiver.

For a first round pick, I would look at someone like Kevin Jones. He is a full-time back. He gets goal line carries, 3rd down carries, and receptions. And in your league, receptions look to be a huge factor. Last year he had 689 rushing yards, 6 rushing touchdowns, 61 receptions, 520 receiving yards, and 2 receiving touchdowns in 12 games. He was on pace for about 900 yardes rushing, 80 receptions, and 700 yards receiving.

Also, Torry Holt or Chad Johnson wouldn't be bad in 1st round. If you could get three of the four player listed here, that would be a damn good start, probably won't happen, but it would be nice. You may have a shot since you will basically have 3 of the first 21 players taken. Good luck whatever you do.

Its a yardage league and TD league.

Every 10 rushing yds you get one point

Every 10 yds receiving you get one point

Every reception you get one point

Every TD scored you get one point.

defense scores by having a sack, int, fumble recovery, holding an opponent to so many yards and also holding them to so many points

I never seen this unique scoring. (and I have been doing FF for 14 years now)

Your league seems receiving and defense heavy. (especially with 3 WR and a TE) Not knowing exactly how the defense scoring is I would say my pick for you to keep is Harrison. (A model of consistency even at his age ~35) cannot go wrong with Manning throwing it to you.

If you truly need the Ravens defense you could always get them back in a few rounds. (Bears too) Defenses can be hit or miss.

I would take Addai/R.Johnson/Parker/Bush <--upside potential (RB's that run and catch)

1.RB 2.RB 3.WR 4.QB/TE/WR (1 pt =20 passing yards?)

Of note...

Henry has great upside.... Shanahan as your coach the great downside. (Though they did bring him in as a free agent rather then through their usual way of development..shoudl say something?)

For your league do not forget possession guys (ball hogs) like Furrey(even with the other two wideouts.. He will be open even more now.) (And in your system he is as good as tory holt)

Enjoy...

Denver RB's of late have all done really well - for about 2 games, and then the "Visionary" Shanahan goes to another guy. I would not pin my hopes on a Denver RB until I see him settle on one RB and go with him like he used to. Last year was a mess, and Henry seems like a complete hope, one who will settle in to his on-again-off-again RBBC style of late. Agree Henry is not a dependable looking back, no matter who he is playing for. Addai has to get a long look this season. I think Hines Ward will be undervalued this season after Pittsburgh's rough season and a new coach now...I'd guess him to be very close to Harrison by years end. Have not studied the team nor the outlook yet, though.
