DETROIT (Verlander) -105 over OAKLAND (Haren)
Danny Haren may be on track for Cy Young honors,
but the Athletics can't seem to win at home in '07
(-$1425 so far) and it won't get any easier tonight
when they square off against the AL's top road team
once again. The Tigers check in with a +$1260 mark
as visitors, and they've got a starting pitcher who is
emerging as one of the best young arms in baseball
(Verlander +$595 with a 3.43 ERA in 20 starts this
year). Oakland has fallen too far back in the AL West
and in the wildcard chase to make it into the playoffs,
while Detroit is in a neck & neck race with a strong
Cleveland team. Go with the visitor in this one.
