Just a little local info coming out. A-Rod is out and was seen limping around the clubhouse with ice bags strapped to his right calf where he was drilled by Towers last nite (payback for his perceived "bush" antics in an earlier series, calling off an infielder catching a pop-up as he was going to 3rd, pretending to be another Jays infielder).

However, Clemens proceeded to hit Rios instead of calling it a draw, and at least one Jay (Overbay on the radio) has said they think they owe one to the Yankees, pitchers have to protect Rios and the big hitters. So there could be more fireworks.

NOW...I could not care less about this baseball payback tradition from a betting point of view EXCEPT...I remember an earlier series (not the Yankees) where the ump issued a pre-game warning and Halliday (obviously not intentionally) came close inside to someone and the ump tossed him. So either intentionally or unintentionally, something could happen that screws up the starting pitching. It likely won't, but think a bit before tossing down big $$$ on the basis of starters tonite.

Just my FYI...good luck whatever you play tonite!! :)
