On The Other Side
The Bengals know who they are as a team heading into the preseason. They will work on specific things (schemes, plays, timing) during the preseason, but winning is not a top priority. On the other hand, the Lions have high expectations for the upcoming season, but until they prove otherwise, they will always be the "Kittens." It is paramount that Detroit comes out of the preseason feeling good about itself. The Lions need to get the fans on their side right away. Matt Millen finally made a good draft pick (Calvin Johnson), so the last thing the team wants to do is silence the buzz that surrounds the franchise right now. Two teams playing tonight with different goals. I'll take the home team that actually cares about the outcome of this game.

That's the best I can do for a writeup on a preseason game fellas.

Good luck!

COLTS +4.5 (-110)
Risking $1,100 to win $1,000

I'm going to make this writeup short and simple, the Cowboys are ALWAYS overvalued at home, especially if the game is on national TV. It doesn't matter if they're playing the defending champs, Dallas at home is a risky bet. Sure, the Cowboys cover at home every now and then, but don't make a habit of betting "America's Team" at home. I think Dallas will win this game SU, but the 4.5 points is a gift.

Good luck!
