Assuming LT and Steven Jackson will be gone, who is the best player left at 3. Will LJ sign and produce a good season, trends say a poor season should not be a surprise, Is Shaun Alexanders foot still a problem? What do you guys think, who was taken 3rd in your drafts

i think it comes down to a personal preference.
chiefs o line is not like it was in previous season.I read today, LJ and chiefs are close to a deal.

alexander is 30 and has a better o line and hasselbeck will give him scoring opps.

Frank Gore might be the guy at three or addai. Gore has an upgraded offense and put up alot of yards last season. The only thing keeping him from being third is the Td's. THe colts defense is going to be hurting this season, so manning will take to the air and put the colts into tons of shootouts. again giving addai scoring opps.

i still question addai's carrying the load for a full season. Gore is still on the niners w/ a young qb, alexander had alot of miles and i have heard the same questions about LJ.

if i was on the clock i would go ( will probably change in 2 days but this is what i am thinking.

LJ still, then alexander, gore, addai,

Sorry Niem, just pulling your chain. I have the #3 pick in the Madjacks league and I'm hoping the doofus's with the 1 and 2 were reading this thread.

So I have my draft tonight, and very unsure who I am going to take at #3. Is LJ ever going to sign, and if so will he be ready for week one. If Gore going to be ready for week, or do I play it safe, and hope that Alexanders ankle is 100% and take him, or should I be thinking about someone else.

Please last minute help needed

johnson will sign, gore will be ready, alexander will be 100%....haha, thats my opinion...draft jackson, he get rushing yards, receiving yards, 6-7 catches a game, and td's, he will get u 200+ yards from scrimmage several times this year. top 3 picks should be tomlinson, johnson and jackson, whichever one of those three is there is the player you should draft.

If it were me, I would take LJohnson with the third pick, or Jackson if he falls. I think there's no way the Chefs let LJ sit, especially after watching Michael Bennett in all his glory last night. Larry Johnson will get his carries, lots of them, and will turn in an outstanding season. Not to mention getting a lot of TDs. Remember how Edwards used Curtis Martin? Definitely likes using a good back heavily.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the backs you are worrying yourself about. I think Alexander will have a strong year, too - as the Seahawks should be very good again. And Gore should be ready for Week One, and with another year of seasoning for those kids and hopefully a healthy year for the Tight End physical freak, he should be a top 5 back no problem.

Keep in mind the Chiefs are my favorite team - I should add that in. But I would consider Johnson with the number 2 pick if he signs in the next week. I think he will have a great year as one of the few options that team has. Maybe not as good as last year, but top 3 in my opinion. Jackson is really being rated highly for someone who has never entered the echelons of LT, LJ, and Alexander - yet. A tremendous talent that may be the best of them, no doubt.

I personally would take Gore, followed by Alexander & then LJ.

Alex seems fine & he will still find the Endzone. He plays in weak defensive division like Gore & look great vs the Bears in the playoffs.

LJ has to play Denver & SD D 2x & that isnt fun.

Gore or LJ hands down at #3......does your league use receptions?? If so move Bush up to about 7 or 8. If Travis Henry is available in the second round...JUMP ON HIM
