I have been thinking alot about golf wagering lately and I may have a play.

wow that was close :scared Its still the biggest bullshit that i have ever seen that this is a ****ing push. Give me a break

Both shoot 5 under..

Snedker has 5 birdies and an eagle..

Goofy Marino has 5 birdies

If snedker would have had 7 birdies instead of the eagle and still shot 5 under i would have won. BULLSHIT.. :shrug:

I will say this was 2 of the greatest ball striking rounds that i have seen in a long time. Marinos average distance from the hole was 20 ft. and he hit 92% of the greens :scared The leader on the pga is 33 feet.. so 20 ft is unreal, especially with the # of greens he hit.

Im still in a grumpy mood. :nono: Although Hansen played well today. +500 is lookin decent.

Can someone explain to me how Hansen was +500 on the top 10 list. He is by far the highest ranked golfer in this field? :shrug: Anyway hopefully him and Petterson can stay near the top 10. It would be nice if Marino would lose to Cjeka ( who also is in form) since that goofy bitch has cost me enough units already.

Ok im on tilt.. even with a push, off to happy hour. Good Luck with your plays

I just got this email from the greek..

Please see our rules on your Golf question:

3-Ball Tie Breakers: Should in the event 2 or more players tie, the player with the most birdies will be declared the winner. If still 2 or more players are tied, only bets on the tied players after use of the 1st tie breaker will be cancelled and monies refunded.

There is no mention Of Eagles.. SO the Eagle is irrelevent in this situation..
I do see your point, But those are the rules I decided on.. Therefore we have to abide by them to the letter, otherwise you bend once, it becomes a problem Long Term.

Frankly, I dont think there should be any tiebreakers for matchups (18 hole or 72 hole). The old saying of "Its not how, but how many" is good enough for me. If they shoot the same score then they shoot the same score.

I assume the books only put in tiebreakers to get a result....more results, more juice for them. So your complaint should be that there is a tiebreaker at all, not the nature of the tiebreaker.

I agree tiebreakers in general are stupid. But if you are to have one, then the eagles should be included with birdies. If it was up to me.. ties are pushes. I cant stand some of the books that have the tie option on the heads up.

Is there anyway we can ban scott -atlanta from this forum.. his smartass comments are useless.

Yes, given they use birdies then it seems rather odd that an eagle doesnt count as a birdie.

Nonetheless, it all seems a bit arbitrary to me.

The byrd 3 ball matchup is interesting

Byrd is #1 on tour in 3rd rd scoring .. hamilton is dead last (194). I would hit this one hard but Merrick played well last week.. still debating it. Im also pondering another shot at snedeker. I still think he has a shot to shoot 6 or 7 under tomorrow.

Cjecka is not taking advantage of a bad round by marino. Of course the one rd i dont back brandt he crushes marino.. and wins his 3 ball group :shrug:
