Buddy here is what im doing. Im registered independent and in our wonderful state you can't vote in primaries because of this, so im gonna register republican to give this guy a vote. I think the top Dem's are basically the same so its not like im wasting a vote.

Unless I am missing some sarcasm here-I actually agree with Sponge. Wow.
Weasel...whats your beef with Paul?
I am sure you dont like his war position, which I can see-but other than that....cant see it...?

duncan hunter..........who also hasn`t a chance in hell......

the difference is that i acknowledge that fact....
LOL, big surprise with Duncan.

You act like just because I support Paul's platform I think he is a shoe in for the nomination. I am not that naive nor have I ever stated that he has a chance. My points have primarily been directed towards those like yourself who do not even bother to consider his ideas and instead label Paul as some type of weirdo because he has the balls tro stand behind his convictions.

Ron Paul is probably the most conservative of all of the Republican candidates which is the main reason that he has not been more effective in congress. However, his ideas regarding what role the government should play in our lives, deserves to be heard.

Perhaps you are more comfortable with the Gestapo tactics of our current administration that claims to have the right to control many of the liberties that we have held sacred since the Founding Fathers so wisely endowed them upon our nation. I for one, am not so willing to give them up.

And now i agree with you. Weasel doesn't like the guy because he is against the worst blunder in american history and of course Weasel is on the side of the blunder. Other than that Paul's platforms are identicle to Weasels platforms. Weasel votes like one of those nuts who forbids abortion so that is the stand they are gonna make, while they are getting screwed in 100 other area's.

I never see protests in California. Not in LA, Santa Barbara, or even when I'm in SF. People tend to be pretty busy working and and in transit. I guess that stuff is only in O'Reilly stock footage ir something. They probably recycle the same footage over and over. Glad you have some out your way though.

Kind of ironic the way folks like you whine about protestors so much. Without that kind of spirit, the US never would have happened. You would have bitched about the Boston Tea Party and sympathized with King George ...or whichever ridiculous king was in charge). Country never would have been born if we were just a bunch of Gardenweasels back then.

Which protests would you like videos of in La and San Fran--and I'll supply with a few-

topics
Illegals
gay rights
flag burning
war protest
--or just bush bashing in general

Hell L.A. even let kids out of class to attend--

"Los Angeles educrats allow kids to skip classes and provides buses and adult supervision to hundreds of high school students from 10 high schools to attend protest rallies."

Do a searchon- protest San Fran-La-or CA

Sheez LA -San Fran-DC and NY are "THE" protest circuit of liberals.

no...i don`t like the guy because:

1)you could fit everything he`s accomplished in 20 + years in congress on a cocktail napkin and still have plenty of room to spare.......

2)he`s a moonbat who, despite how you parse it,gives credence to all the ridiculous conspiracy nuts.....showing me he`s not a serious candidate.....

3)his isolationist policy is right out of the 1800`s.....and untenable in today`s globalist society......

4)nobody on either side of the aisle would work with him because he`s so out there....

5)many of his followers are cult-like and scary....

basically, some of the same reasons that lyndon larouche wasn`t a legit candidate...

btw...they found jose padilla guilty on all 3 counts....

sorry,guys....

I don't bother saying "You know better" anymore, because it's clear you actually don't. Yeah, I'm sure protests occur - but my point (which I'm sure EVERYONE else got) is that I never run across them. They are obviously overhyped and played up disproportionately in neocon media. Having basically grown up in So Cal, gone to college on the coast, and now attempt to spend as much time as possible in this great state - I've never once run across a protest. ....well, other than the "Poly Royal" riots in 1991 at my college where people were drunk and fighting for their right to party.

DTB is another one of those guys - just like weasel - who would have been against the formation of the USA back in 1776. You guys are funny - so blinded by hatred of liberals that you can't even recognize something good if it was right in front of you.

Actually.........anyone who spends more than five seconds a day thinking ANY candidate EVER matters, should do that.

You guys really waste a lot of effort tilting at windmills.

I'd be willing to bet neither gardenweirdo nor DTB have ever been to San Francisco, seeing how ignorant they are when talking about the place. Yeah, everytime I've been there there are multiple demonstrations going on all over town...:withstupi
