You don't have to go into anything that you do, I'm sure a conversation here going past two cognitive sentences can be pretty taxing for some. No problem. You believe in your current leadership, and wear that like some kind of badge. That's fine. You have a handful of stubborn posters here - and non-posters in this country that also believe in them. I hope you find comfort in that. Because the current leadership is simply a joke to a growing majority of people in this country, and always has been to most in other countries.

People should get what they earn. You believe people are entitled to something no matter the effort.
I believe in supporting my country during difficult times. You believe in burning your draft card and protesting your leaders.
It is absolutely a waste of both of our time to even continue this dialogue.

I imagine most of the people here are still voting, paying taxes, obeying the laws. I highly doubt they aren't supporting their country. I honestly think the people here are good citizens. They just have honest disagreements. Democracy, no?
And burning draft cards? That's so 1960's. The average American was born after the draft ended. Live in the now.

I pretty much agree with the waste of time idea. I just get testy when conservatives take on the holier than thou patriot self important tone and simply label others and call them names. Which is pretty much all you've done. So, no biggie. It's not like I'll be missing out on any important sharing of thoughts - which is what I thought this forum was kind of about. Others here (wasn't referring to myself) are worthy of more respect than you are giving them - in my opinion. But then, that kind of goes along with your high and mighty position, it seems. I've heard and seen it before, and will again. No problem. Plenty of people to carry on a sensible conversation with here.
Again, not that it matters, but I never called you a liar or insinuated that you were lying. I never called you stupid, I just said that your manner of posting when you post one line of garbage and label people with a derogatory name made you sound stupid. I have no doubt from some of your posts that you are pretty intelligent. You misrepresent my posts completely, either because you don't really read them, or you feel like you need to for the sake of an argument.
To address your two points about what I believe: I don't believe people are entitled to something no matter the effort in all cases. I've touched on that in this forum in the past. And I believe in supporting my country during difficult times - there are plenty of ways to do that. I have plenty of concerns about the war in Iraq specifically - which did not necessarily have to mean "tough times" for the people of this country. But that gets into the details of that - which you don't care to get into in a one or two line post, I'm sure. I wonder if you supported Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter when our country was in "tough times." Seems you are suggesting we blindly follow our leaders, and they are all above reproach and criticism, right?
A free country means many things. And since you brought it up earlier, maybe that includes letting idiots who support many positions have an opinion and God forbid - speak on them. Plenty of idiots on both sides of a war issue, my man. Carry on.
