Week 1....

Nothing special this week.... I like to take it slow to begin the season.... Here's what I'm looking at so far.... (These are only looks.... I've only played the first three listed.)


Kent St +3' and ML +162
UL Monroe +4 and ML +155
Ga Tech +2' and ML +125
Wake +6 (+103) and ML +???
Memphis +2' and ML +???

I'm looking at a few (very few) favorites....
Iowa -11'
Akron -5
Fl Atl -2

40+ point dogs??? (Where's the thread Bobby??? I know this didn't fair well last year, but it's always worth a look....)

Idaho +45 :scared
Arky St +39' (almost there) :scared
North Texas +40' :scared

The more I look at Wake I think it makes a lot of sense. Could be a long year for BC.

Really like the Memphis pick and most of the ML. In regards to the 40 point dogs, Mack Brown loves to beat the hell out of no names and I see no way that Texas does not cover the 40 if it gets there. I can see no way they do not score 60 and therefore Arky st. would have to score 20?

It's a system play if I choose to play the 40+ point dogs this year.... One thing that I can't do is to try to out guess the system. If you play all dogs of 40 points or more, then you play all of them...not just the ones that you like. Heck, it's hard to "like" any team that a 40+ point underdog. LOL

I don't know if I'll play them this year or not.... I was throwing it out there for everyone's consideration.... Best of luck this year.

FYI for Texas this week. Limas Sweed gametime decision and Billy Pittman doubtful. It probably doesn't matter. I just heard M. Brown presser and he talked about injuries on offense.

I got you and completely understand. I think the play may be 1st half on USC and Texas. If not, chase with a 3rd quarter or 2nd half play

Cal is favored but I think UT is the better team. Cal will be pretty good but UT will be much better.
