I am pissed. I am getting ready to go into watch Tiger-Phil and I have a telethon on today. WTF. I have DirecTV and every sports package you can get and no golf. I call them and there is nothing I can do this is NBC doing. I can watch the replay on The Golf Channel on Thursday, yea baby.

TOTAL BS.

Is it their local nbc-affiliate station that is preempting the golf coverage? Mine is carrying the golf. (Luckily for me)

Local NBC affiliate has put on a telethon, and the only way I could have got it was either the local channels (CBS, NBC, etc..) weren't available or I could purchase NBCE or NBCW on DirecTV 82-83 after I submitt a waiver that takes 45 days. I have no problem with anyone doing something for charity, but don't force it down everyones throat. NBC has other affiliates to shift golf to, at least give me the option, hence it is the year 2007 and I do live in America and pay about 100 a month for a cable bill.

There is no possible way any NBC entity, whether local or national, made that decision. None.

Either directly or indirectly it's Direct TV's fault.

They are blowing smoke up your ass.
