Any thoughts on when Quinn starts!

Now I know everyone will say right now,but lets think about this for a minute.Ok this Sunday....Seriously my thought is week 6 vs Miami.Here are my reasons,#1 it is a home game vs a good D but not near as tough as the ones before this.WK 2 Cincy,WK 3 @Oak, WK 4 home Balt, WK 5 @New Eng, WK 6 Home Miami WK 7 Bye. If they wait till week 6 he will have been able to see some of the best D's in AFC without getting drilled by them.Now if he starts WK 6 you get to have 1 full game of film to go over with him in action on your bye week.You can tell him what he missed or what he did well and work on it in that extra week.It may be tough waiting till after that 5th game but I don't think you want him in his first start at New Eng,or vs Balt and you can't start him one week and not the next.So start him with the first string in practice after week 5 game vs New Eng and then he starts vs Miami and is your starter for the next 12 yrs.

Any one else that is a Brown fan add to this,or if you have an opinion on it.I believe Anderson will get the start vs his old team Balt and then one more in New Eng and then it is in with the new.Favorable for Quinn and all Browns fans.Just have to suffer through a few more games.

I really don't know why they don't put the QB in shotgun,sure seems like it would help them see the blitz because apparently they have no peripheal vision. GL Browns fans,maybe they will call some different plays next week too like a screen,something to combat the blitz.Sure looked like the same O to me.

Coach still doesn't know what to challenge,maybe they will just give him a white flag and take that red one away.Ha Ha.

1. Cle is going no where. So might as well lose with Quinn, and hopefully the experience gets him ready for next year.

2. Theres a long list of starting pitchers and quarterbacks who arrive with glowing press and "can't miss" accolades who have been destroyed by being thrown out there before being physically or mentally ready for the nuances of the pro game.

I think the brain trust in Cle will give him 2 or 3 more weeks of intensive grooming..... maybe a late mop up series or two and depending on response he'll start somewhere around:

wk 5 Miami
wk 6 @S.L.
wk 7 Seattle

Starting him wk 2 Oak, wk 3 Bal or wk 4 N.E. (Oak too soon, Bal and N.E = cruel and unusual punishment)

I think they'll opt to start him at home..... instead of on the road.

The folks in Cle love this kid, so I think they'll forgive a great deal. His exposure to Weis and his pro style offense will help.

Remember this is the franchise that drafted and went down in flames with tim couch.

week 5 seems logical. I wasnt that impressed with him in his last year @ ND though....
