Wonder when the Spartans will get some respect? Dantonio is no Smith and I think I am going to take a shot at the money line on this one GL

ULM +13.5 over Troy--Troy got a late pick 6 to cover against ULL (without Fenroy) and I think ULM is better than Lafayette. ULM should be able to run the ball and have had an extra week to prepare. I'll take the double digits.

As Michigan fans, I think Falcon and I are going to miss John L. even more than we thought we would miss Bobby Williams. Unfortunately, I think the green and white finally got it right.

Division I-AA games

Division I-AA games

Davidson +1.5 over Jacksonville--Numbers play. I have Davidson laying a TD on the road. I think Jacksonville will get worn down in this game.

Robert Morris -6.5 over VMI--Bobby Mo has been finding ways to win this year. Fortunately, this week they will not have to look too hard. VMI is not very good. RMU should have a field day throwing the ball against VMI's weak pass defense.

Morgan St. +1.5 over Bethune Cookman--Morgan St.'s defense and running game will be the difference.

YSU -15 over Missouri St.--I was hoping for a 14 but 15 should work. YSU has played a stronger schedule and will be more physical than Missouri St. YSU won't get into a shootout with MSU and that is MSU's only chance to win.

Stony Brook +24 over Hofstra--Hofstra had a lousy first half last week and I hope it happens again. The Pride is (are?) solid but I think 24 is too many to lay to a team that can score a little bit.

FYI: I played Lehigh -3 and UNH +3 but those numbers are gone now. I wanted to lay 28 with Drake against Valpo but couldn't do it and I like San Diego 24 over Butler but I don't like to lay that kind of chalk on the road. Plus their new coach doesn't pour it on like the last one. Maybe Hawkeye or Spalding could talk me into Drake or SD.

Those lines are a little steep. Drake should whale on Valpo after seeing Northern Iowa and their speed last week.

The line I hit right away was McNeese St -6 over South Dakota....not South Dakota St. SD is D2 and moving to D1-AA next year, they are decent but shouldn't be able to hang with McNeese. The line is up to 10 now, which may still be good.

I got Dartmouth +3, Holy Cross -2 and Harvard +6.5

Perhaps we can middle that Mountain Hawk tilt.
GL

Is there any source for1-AA lines other than 5 Dimes?

Thanks

Michigan/NW under 49.5--Michigan as a road conference favorite is usually a great under play. They get a two score lead and then refuse to try to put teams away. Add that philosophy to a banged up NW team and I think this game stays way under.

Ohio St./Minnesota under 61--Gophers are rotten and Buckeyes really playing well. But, I don't see them putting another 50 on the board this week. Everything went their way early against NW and it really snowballed. Minnesota will struggle to score twice against the OSU defense. This one will probably be around 42-10.

Illinois +3 over PSU--I'm not sold on Penn St. at all. They have played a lousy schedule and don't have a whole lot of creativity on offense. Illinois has a tough stretch coming after this game and knows this is one they can win. They should be able to score some points and find a way to win at home. This one might go to 3.5 closer to gametime.

Two that prove I should have my head examined:scared :
CMU/NIU under 59.5--Neither team can be as bad defensively as they have shown. Both teams should be able to run the ball successfully. Conference game will bring out a little more conservative play. I'm taking my chances.

ND +22 over Purdue--I can't see a team as bad defensively as Purdue covering a number this big, even against Notre Dame.
