Let's get this party started with the early ESPN games... neither game easy to cap, but here's what I'm going to play:

Notre Dame +22.5 for 5* & 1st half +14 for 3* - Okay, I know Painter has been torching teams this season, but the Irish getting over 3 TD's:shrug: I might feel like a sucker as Notre Dame has been downright awful this season. However, if a team was ever due for a cover, it's ND. I also think Purdue's defense is nothing special. How about Purdue 38-17 and I'm a winner... let's hope anyway.

LSU -41 for 5* & 1st half -24 for 3* - Tough to not like the Tigers playing @ the Superdome which might as well be considered a home game. Tulane doesn't play any defense and will have a difficult time scoring in this game. LSU's backups are far better than Tulane's starters so yes, I do expect this game to finish something like 49-0 or 59-7 Tigers. Heck, LSU beat Va Tech almost this bad.

Va Tech -18.5 for 3* - Tar Heels really looked awful last week and freshman QB Yates has looked terrible. Hokies really need a big win and they get an easy victory tomorrow vs. a hopeless UNC squad.

UConn -15 for 3* - Huskies coming off impressive win @ Pitt and they have things rolling this season. Akron just 4-11 ATS their last 15 road games as well.

Syracuse -1 for 3* - Orangemen will have a lot of momentum coming into this game while Miami Ohio is injury riddled and lacking confidence after the beating they took in Boulder last week.

Miss State +14 for 2* - Bulldogs have really played well since their 45-0 shellacking against LSU in the opener. I think South Carolina's offense isn't good enough to separate from the Bulldogs who should have a lot of confidence after winning at Auburn a couple weeks ago.

Florida -17 (-120) for 5* - Great spot for revenge as Auburn will have major problems scoring and Tebow should have a field day vs. an average Auburn secondary. Gators get their payback with a monster blowout IMO.

Playing too much chalk right now which is scary. I'll have a few more puppies tomorrow when I finish capping in the morning.

Too much chalk you say?

Nah, you only took 5 favorites on a slate of about 50 games. Nothing to be scared about.

I doubt 46 dogs are going to cover on Saturday.

Really like Florida but I'm thinking about playing the team total over 35.....

Illinois +3 (+100) for 3* - Why does everyone love Penn State when they don't have a QB. Illini get a signature win tomorrow, but I'll take the points for insurance.

Most likely going to play the following, but currently here are more leans for tomorrow:

Adding Kansas State +15
Bama ML (although it's dropping quickly)
East Carolina +14
Clemson -3
Tulsa -22
New Mexico +4.5
La Tech +11.5
North Texas +36.5
Virginia -5.5
Buffalo +14
OU -23
Idaho +25
SMU -1
Nevada -3 (-120)

Adding:

Colorado +23 for 5* - Originally liked the Sooners, but I think OU will be looking ahead to Texas and might not come focused. Buffaloes never this big a home underdog and Bradford finally leaving the state of Oklahoma for a football game.

Baylor +17 for 5* - Bears have looked good against weak competition and now face a Texas A&M squad that might not be 100% focused. Aggies passing game seriously lacking while Baylor's Szymanski has 14 TD passes in wins over Rice, Buffalo, and Texas State.

Iowa -9.5 (-120) for 2* - Hawkeyes homecoming and have revenge on their minds from a tough loss to Indiana last season as 19 point favorites. Indiana looked good against weaker teams, but got rolled by Illannoy last week and should have more problems with Iowa today.

Temple +7 (-120) for 4* - First off, I wouldn't play this game, but it's on TV. Army is just 1-5 ATS their last 6 laying chalk and Cadets averaging just 14 PPG and 60 yards rushing per game:com: It used to be tough to win @ Army, but support for the team appears to be very low so the intimidation factor is minute.

Adding Michigan State +7.5 for 6*
Grab this line while it's available. I have not been impressed with Wisky as they could have lost to Iowa and should have lost @ UNLV. Today, the impressive Spartans come to Camp Randle and should give the Badgers all they want. Wisky's defense has been nothing special and their offense is just okay. I'm also shocked the line is higher vs. Michigan State than it was vs. Iowa:shrug:

Adding Kansas State +15 for 6* - Look ahead game for the Horns plus I like how the Kitties match up with them. Texas wins, but it should be close.

Looks like backing LSU was a dumb idea. They're sleep walking and look very uninterested. Notre Dame looks downright pathetic as well... how do you let a team convert on 3rd & 29 LMAO:142smilie
