Season Stats: 19-10-1 (+13.60 units)
Last Week: 7-5 (+4.00 units)

FOUR STRAIGHT WINNING WEEKS!!!!

1. Oklahoma (-22) over COLORADO (1 unit)

OU is the highest scoring team in the nation.

Colorado beat Miami Ohio 42-0 last week, but it is a little deceiving because the Redhawks were missing their top 2 RB's and using a backup QB due to injuries. Something a MAC team can't afford when facing any BCS conference team on the road.

This Sooner team looks very focused. They go out every Saturday and beat teams like they should.

I'm not so sure that will be an easy cover. CU is known for playing well against ranked teams. 22 is a lot to give up to a team on the road.

The more I see this play, the more I like it.

1. Oklahoma (-22) over COLORADO (now upgraded to 2 units)

Oklahoma's lowest-scoring game so far this season came when it still put up 51 against Miami (FL).

The Sooners are looking for their 6th straight win over Colorado. Average margin of victory in the streak: 22 points.

Stoops is 6-1 in Big-12 openers.

When CU played Florida State a few weeks ago, they rushed for -27 yards. Oklahoma is giving up just 44 yards per game on the ground.

thanks AR! :SIB

2 more plays, including one on the Friday game:

2. West Virginia (-6-1/2) over SOUTH FLORIDA (2 units)

West Virginia is looking for revenge after losing to the Bulls last year. Pat White is coming off one of his best performances (18-for-20 and 181 yards) in 3 quarters against ECU.

The Mountaineers pass defense has improved over last season. WV is giving up 186 passing ypg after surrendering 243 ypg last season.

3. Southern Cal (-20-1/2) over WASHINGTON (2 units)

With ya on West Virginia...not too many of us on the eers on this site.

Will be at the Okla/CU game, but I'm on the other side. I could be regretting it.

Didn't get off to a good start this weekend as WV came out throwing (what?). USF certainly showed they are for real!

Writeup from previous:

3. Southern California (-20-1/2) over WASHINGTON (2 units)

The Washington defense allowed 333 rushing yards last week at UCLA. Now the task gets even tougher. USC rushes for 244 yards per game.

Five Trojans have at least 14 carries this season, and 4 of them are averaging at least 5.5 yards.

Final 2 plays of the weekend - both early games in the Big 10.

4. IOWA (-10-1/2) over Indiana (1 unit)

I think a return to Kinnick and the friendly confines will be a good tonic for the Hawkeyes. The Iowa secondary will be tested this week and have ample opportunity to make plays.

5. MICHIGAN/NORTHWESTERN UNDER 49-1/2 (1 unit)

Northwestern runs a spread offense, but it doesn't feature Dennis Dixon, who terrorized the Wolverines. The best player on the Wildcats, Tyrell Sutton, has been sidelined off and on all season with an ankle injury. If he does play, it may be limited action.

It looks like the Wolverines may be playing once again without their senior QB Chad Henne.

The Michigan defense should shut down the inept Northwestern offense. Cornerback Donovan Warren should scare the Wolverines' offense, so I'll play this one under.
