Philadelphia at New York Giants:

Phi -2
47.5

Philly is banged up, but coming off an 8-TD romp over the Lions, while the Giants battled back to beat the Redskins. Both NFC East rivals are hurting, but both want to get to .500 to keep the Cowboys within range.

Oddsmakers currently have the Eagles listed as 3-point favorites versus the Giants, while the game's total is sitting at 47?.

The Eagles destroyed Detroit 56-21 as a 5-point favorite in Week 3. The combined score went OVER the posted over/under total (56).

Donovan McNabb threw for 381 yards with four touchdown passes and Kevin Curtis caught 11 passes for 221 yards with three touchdowns for Philadelphia.

The Giants defeated Washington 24-17 as a 3.5-point favorite in Week 3. The combined score fell UNDER the posted over/under total (42.5).

Reuben Droughns had a pair of rushing touchdowns for the Giants in the win and Eli Manning completed 21-of-36 passes for 232 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions.

Team records:
Philadelphia: 1-2 SU, 1-2 ATS
New York: 1-2 SU, 1-2 ATS

Philadelphia most recently:
When playing in September are 6-4
When playing on turf are 3-7
After outgaining opponent are 5-5
When playing within the division are 6-4

New York most recently:
When playing in September are 5-5
When playing on turf are 4-6
After outgaining opponent are 7-3
When playing within the division are 5-5

A few trends to consider:
The total has gone OVER in 4 of Philadelphia's last 5 games when playing NY Giants
The total has gone UNDER in 8 of Philadelphia's last 10 games when playing on the road against NY Giants
The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Philadelphia's last 7 games
Philadelphia is 7-3 SU in its last 10 games
The total has gone OVER in 4 of the NY Giants last 5 games when playing Philadelphia
The total has gone UNDER in 8 of the NY Giants last 10 games when playing at home against Philadelphia
The total has gone UNDER in 9 of the NY Giants last 12 games at home
NY Giants are 3-6 ATS in their last 9 games when playing Philadelphia

Maybe QB Donovan McNabb should stir up a controversy every week. After all, it certainly woke up the Eagles. RB Brian Westbrook is averaging 7.3 yards every time he touches the ball; his 514 combined rushing/receiving yards leads the NFL. Not that we're making excuses for the Giants, but maybe they're not as bad as their 1-2 record might indicate. After all, their first three opponents are a combined 8-1 this season (the one loss being the one the Giants handed the Redskins).

Phi -2 $33/30
Under 48 $33/30

Phi 24
Gia 17

EDIT!!!!

I am changing my play to the Giants. Buy back at Giants +3 $70/60.
Buy back under $33/30

Still like the under but may also buy it back. All these injuries changing my mind.

Gia 27
Phi 20

While it is true I hate to play anything without a win or loss at stake, I also don't just shoot money around without reason to believe I have the best of it. This is a completely new way of capping for me so I am still working out the kinks. Once I do, I will step up the amounts of my bets as I will have more confidence in them.

I may have found yet another even better way of how to bet my plays and how my 'system' works best. Will post it after some research.

Hey, can I borrow $500? :mj07:

New England at Cincinnati:

NE -7.5
53.5:scared

The Patriots have laughed their way to three straight routs. The Bengals are lucky they aren't 0-3. New England looks to replicate last year's 38-13 destruction here last season and since they have scored 38 points each week in 2007, that sounds about right.

Oddsmakers currently have the Patriots listed as 6-point favorites versus the Bengals, while the game's total is sitting at 51?.

The Patriots routed Buffalo 38-7 as a 16.5-point favorite in Week 3. The combined score went OVER the posted over/under total (41).

Tom Brady threw for 291 yards with four touchdown passes for New England, while Randy Moss caught five passes for 115 yards with two touchdowns.

The Bengals lost to Seattle 24-21 as a 3-point underdog in Week 3. The combined score fell UNDER the posted over/under total (49.5).

Carson Palmer completed 27-of-43 passes for 342 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions and T.J. Houshmandzadeh caught 12 passes for 141 yards with a touchdown.

Current streak:
New England has won 3 straight games.
Cincinnati has lost 2 straight games.

Team records:
New England: 3-0 SU, 3-0 ATS
Cincinnati: 1-2 SU, 1-1-1 ATS

New England most recently:
When playing in October are 7-3
When playing on turf are 9-1
After outgaining opponent are 9-1
When playing outside the division are 8-2

Cincinnati most recently:
When playing in October are 4-6
When playing on turf are 4-6
After outgaining opponent are 5-5
When playing outside the division are 3-7

A few trends to consider:
The total has gone OVER in 8 of New England's last 9 games
New England is 8-1 SU in its last 9 games
New England is 8-1 ATS in its last 9 games
New England is 5-1 SU in its last 6 games when playing Cincinnati
Cincinnati is 8-1 ATS in its last 9 games when playing New England
Cincinnati is 5-1 ATS in its last 6 games when playing at home against New England
The total has gone OVER in 4 of Cincinnati's last 5 games when playing New England
The total has gone UNDER in 7 of Cincinnati's last 10 games

The Boston Globe reports that Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is 1-for-8 in replay challenges since the start of last season. So, see, the Patriots do know what it's like to lose at something. The league's top two receivers will be on display when Chad Johnson's Bengals face Randy Moss' Patriots on Sunday. Johnson has more receiving yards this season (442 to 403) but Moss has more TDs (5 to 3). Both carry plenty of baggage.

For now, I can't find a play in this game. Although my original work up was NE 34 Cin 17. So I may play a teaser of some sort, but I hate messing with a Monday night road fave. This is pretty much a must win for Cincy.
