He's always gotten by with his basketball abilities and flashing his trademark smile. Other than those two things, he's demonstrated that he's a total loser - running the CBA franchise into bankruptcy, ruining the Knicks (fine with me, as I detest NY teams). Guys like him have never been told 'no' and just don't know how to react to. All the things I've read over the years by "insiders" point to him being a real piece of sh*t. And, a dumb one, at that.

They weren't ruined, just in bad shape when he got there. I agree he actually has added a couple good pieces, but that's not due to his shrewd negotiating, it's due to the other teams' need to dump salary or rid themselves of personnel issues.

He's a chump and always will be.

As for the lady (not broad) who sued him, I was quite inspired by her speech on Sportscenter. I thought she was incredibly well-spoken and credible, and obviously the jury ageed.

Kelly he has made some good draft picks. Seems like you just don't like the guy. I guess it is valid because a lot of people don't like the guy. For that lady's sake i hope its over for her but i have a feeling Thomas won't let this die. Amazing he gets to still keep his job.:shrug:
