NYY/CLEV : lets start with carmona, his L3 era 1.71, so what ???? it came against seatt,oak,kc.........the other 2 starts @ cws @min.......the 2 before that, cws & @kc...........THROW OUT THE #'S THEY ARE DISTORTED.............pettitte has looked mediocre, best case : 5 or 6 innings, 3 or 4 runs ........ pett may last 7 if it's close, joe doesn't have much he can trust early out of the pen...........clev has the pen edge, so they get the slight lean...... could see both starters gone early.....I said it yesterday : clev will do their part to send the gm over, not sure about the yanks, same today....... carmona is ripe but the yanks may be gripping, the pressure is on..... PLay the OVER !!!! Note : yanks have to KO carmona to win this gm , I think they can but can't bet on it because of the PRESSURE FACTOR.......this is the series, get carmona or say good night Joe !

Brian, Yankees are simple, you said it yourself. If they don't get Andy to Chamberlain with the lead or tied, they lose, very simple, don't you agree?
I agree & they have to hit early...... if this gm goes under, yanks don't win...... carmona will be had this post season, if not by the yanks, in the next series......... MARK IT DOWN !

i think you are wrong about Carmona. He has nasty stuff. Some think he is better than CC. I do not think he has the composure of CC, though.

just my guess but I said / this gm has to go OVER FOR THE YANKS TO HAVE A (CHANCE) @ THE WIN...... if it is under , I think the yanks lose.....

i see it the same way.pettite must go deep into the game atleast 7 innings.unless yanks have a big lead.there bp is horrible,maybe worst in baseball except for a few.kinda like the yanks to bounce back tonite but wont oput money on them just to make a play. as long as pettite pitchs strong i think they win and should show there sticks tonite. if this game is close in the late innings,tribe should win

this is the way I see it....Pettitte gets thru 6 innings giving up 2 runs, Joba and Mo finish out the last 3 innings...Joe will only go with those 2 for today unless Andy doesn't go 6 ip or it goes extras...
