My BIG PLAY last week bit the dust last week as an inept Jets offense was unable to exploit a bruised and battered Bills patchwork Defense.

My BIG Plays are now 1-1 for the season.

Locked and Loaded for this one!
:bigun:

BIG PLAY on:

Monday Night Football

Dallas Cowboys -10

The Cowboys have opened up as a small 10 point road favorite next week...hop on the Cowboys as fast as you can because this one is a gift...the Cowboys have an offense = one of the Best in the NFL at this time (unlike the Jets last week) and they will be able to expose a bruised and battered Bills defensive unit ...PLUS...Cowboys Coach Wade Phillips has been waiting for this game for a while as he gets his first opportunity as a Head Coach to beat his old team and the owner Ralph Wilson that
sued him in an attempt to get out of paying Phillips what he was due when the
Bills released him years ago...there won't be any letting up on the peddle by Wade and the Cowboys on Monday Night....take the Cowboys and lay the 10 for my Third BIG Play of the season.
Dallas 34 Buffalo 14

POUND IT!!!!!!!!

Careful here on this one, Wade will wanna win the game but dont think he's keeping TO and fellas in line just to show them how to rub someones nose in chit. I see this more as a Bills cover, Dallas has New England on deck and I THINK will be much more enamored by that game then this one with the Bills, stay healthy and get outta town to prepare for New England in BIG D would be the thought process I would think. BOL on your play.

I agree with you on the fact that they have the Pats on deck...but...Wade wants this game badly because of what I explained in my writeup... and ...the Bills Defense has been decimated by injuries in which the lowly Jets weren't able to take advantage of it...Dallas OC Jason Garrett must be licking his chops this week because the Cowboys offense VS the Bills Defense is a colossal mismatch...plus...last week T.O. had pedestrian numbers so I expect a Monster game out of him in front of the lights on MNF...I don't see the Bills staying within 10 points of the Boys this week.

I agree with you this one is going to be close very close! If not an upset the Bills are yet to be in the spot light this year and have alot to prove being a young team.

double-digit dog on MNF :scared

interesting opinions here.

BILLS are ranked 32nd & last in 6 of 8 major stat columns

COWBOYS are a perfect 7-0 ATS on the non-division road and covered their first 2 RGs by 40.5 pts.

Since the Boys are on the road I'll give the BILLS 13 :)

DALLAS 31-13 BUFFALO

Just remember boys....on MNF and since it has existed, the spread has not come involved in 86% of the games on MNF (not sundays gms). Pick a winner. Either Dallas covers or the Bills win outright. I have given this stat for yrs. IMO Dallas wins....thus covers the spread. The spread does come involved 1 -2 times a year to get this stat and the spread has already come involved once this year. The odds are with you in just picking the winner whom ever you choose. So if you like Dallas take them -10 or take the ML with Buffalo. GL guys

We're both pretty close on our opinion of the final score :toast:

The Bills have suffered too many major injuries on the defensive side of the ball to keep this one close...the Cowboys offense is hitting on all cylinders.

Adding this Medium size play for this week:

San Diego Chargers +1
Over Denver
The chips are all in for this game for the Chargers as they face an almost must win early in the season?the Broncos haven?t played well at all this season and are banged up (Wr Javon Walker will likely sit) and Hb Travis Henry faces a league suspension as well?plus the Broncos have been horrible of late at Home going just 1-10 ATS in their last 11 home tilts vs the AFC?Denver is also 1-4 ATS in their last 5 following a SU loss?the Chargers are 10-2-2 in their last 14 as a road doggie and 13-2-2 in their last 18 overall as an underdog?the Chargers and L.T. get off the schnied this week as they face a Broncos team that can?t stop the run?Chargers Outright!
San Diego 27 Denver 20

Adding this Small Play:

Green Bay Packers -3
over Chicago
Too many injuries on the defensive side of the ball for the Boars...plus...they haven't been able to run the football which puts the ball in the hands of Brian (turnover) Griese as he faces a pretty darn good Packers Defense ;)

The Pack wins by at least a FG as long as they don't kick the ball to Devin Hester :mj08:

Adding 3 more Small Plays:

All are small chalk:

(Buy the 1/2 pt on all 3)

Washington Redskins -3 over Lions
The Redskins plan to run the ball all day long and play keep away from Martz and his offense...Joe Gibbs has never lost to the Lions.

NY Giants -3 over Jets

Baltimore Ravens -3 over Niners

I believe this is true for most NFL games. If you pick the winner, most of the time you will cover. I remember having this discussion last year. Plus most of the time for MNF, you have 2 equal teams, so the line is not usually this high.

As always, you and I have very similar picks.
I expect the Cowboys to dominate the Bills Monday to set the line up perfectly for NE to trash the Cowboys next week. The only game we are going heads up on is NYJ- NYG. I think NYJ pulls the upset.

Good Luck.

Good Luck to you as well Pug!

:toast:

If everything goes as planned and both the Cowboys and Pats roll this week, the Pats will likely open up as a 3 to 6 pt favorite next week in Dallas.
I think the game will be close for a while, but the Pats will exploit a suspect Cowboys secondary and run away with it in the second half enroute to a 34-23 win.

I easily cashed my Medium size play of the Chargers+1 and went 3-2 overall on the day.

The Bills will keep the game close for a while tonight, but the Cowboys will pull away in the end to make it a very profitable week.
