ESPN SUN LAST WEEK: 2-3
ESPN SUN SEASON: 8-11-1
OVERALL LAST WEEK ATS:5-5
SEASON ATS: 18-24-2
ESPN OFFICE POOL LAST WEEK: 9-5
SEASON OFFICE POOL: 39-22

Not too much out of the ordinary from The Hammer this week, splitting time between foots & the ponies.

NO - 3 lean NO

JAX - 2 to run

WASH - 3.5 Detroit 0 for 20 in WASH. Lions 2ndary terrible.

TENN - 8.5 Atl run D pretty bad, TENN to run & open things up for young.

MIAMI + 5.5 Hou without Andre Johnson. MIAMI's Brown has over 200 total yards the last 2 games, only one player has done it 3 times.....Walter Peyton.

SEA + 6 SEAHAWKS playing their best defense in years and are 7-TS last vs. Pitt.

ARIZ - 3.5 Won their last 2 trips to St L. Won't be easy for Frerotte.

SD + 1 Den given up 5 yards per carry on the ground. Javon Walker, out & Travis Henry in question along with Rod Smith. Den used to be automatic at home, but they are 1 for 11 their last 12 ATS there.

BALT - 3.5 BALT 7-0 coming off a loss as a fave.

CHI + 3.5. A "waffle" game for sure, he just took CHI to go against a fellow capper. Originally a PASS.

DALLAS - 10 DALL ave 37 PPG, Buff D banged up. COWBOYS won & covered 4 straight on Mon nites.

SUN ESPN: Looks like WASH for sure, then TENN.
Then perhaps SD, ARIZ.

Thanks Hitman. He's having a tough year so far but I see him turning it around.

I like Arizona as well - your thoughts?

Well, Ank, I'll tell ya, it's been a rough go so far, but bailed out big time on Mon nite with NE to make it two winning weeks in a row. They were my largest bet so far, I really liked them. No such game this week, tho.

Up top this week, I have SD(+1.5, & ML) as, IMO, Denver could easily be 0-4 and they are no longer a major threat at home. And, as Hank pointed out, they are handicapped by injuries this week.
After that, it's WASH, ARIZ & GIANTS for a standard play. I am a little shy about the ARIZ play as it's against a trend that I threaded here this week (0-4 teams in week 5). So, if I lose that one I have myself to kick......it's just that St Louis has looked so terrible, and now Frerrotte ! I've seen enough of him down here playing for the Dolphins to know he isn't the answer. Hope he doesn't have a one game flash, as is possible from any QB, they are all pros, after all. And ARIZ really looks to me like they are coming around. The NYG play was earlier in the week at -3, I won't lay the hook. Play is based primarily on GIANTS D to win me the game. As Hank pointed out, WASH has never lost to Det at home.............this goes back to the 1930's. AS amazing a stat as I've ever seen, kind of hard to believe.
For "pizza money", the FINS/HOU over gets my nod, only because Miami has been playing to overs, not because of any special player/team stats for the game. I found a 42 earlier in the week, so I took it, it's no longer available. I like a TENN/ATL under, but I am probably not going to find the 41 or higher I am looking for. Seattle looks worth a "lunch money" play, I am waiting on that.
The DALL side will get a look on Monday night.

Thanks for the great write up Hitman

All of a sudden - I'm looking at the over in the Browns/Patriots game. Think it might be somewhat of an up and down game with a lot of points scored....

It might be a little windy there, today, Ank. You might want to check that out.
