morris, we went to salty's in halfmoon.

so, the game has to be almost over, and i have no idea what's going on. this is kinda weird. oh, and i'm somewhat intoxicated. :scared

very odd. turns out the game was nowhere near over when i typed that last night. i dvr'd the game, setting it for 3 hours 45 minutes, from 7:45 to 11:30. normally plenty of time for a game to finish. the recording ended with 2 minutes to go in the game.

anyways, what a nice birthday gift for me. not one, but TWO fumbled punts fairly deep in rutgers territory and they only allow one score. the fake punt. the fake field goal. i'm usually on the wrong end of those.

for the 3 people who care, i'm taking a very serious look at uconn tonight. another home dog in a prime time game... :SIB

alright, let's try to milk this birthday thread for one more win.

uconn (+3) 1 unit. i don't know if most people realize this is not the same louisville team of the past few years. sure, they can score in bunches, but their heart was ripped out with those early losses. i admire the way they stepped up last week to beat cincinnati, but i don't know that they can do it two weeks in a row. they are 1-4 ATS as a fav this year, while uconn is 2-0 as a dog. i'm seeing 75% on louisville, but the line has dropped. looks like a repeat of last night.
uconn is 4th in the country with 13 INTs, and 10th overall in pass defense. no, they haven't seen anything like this louisville offense, but i think they'll step up tonight.

wow, it really feels like it is still my birthday. that had to be the worst call i was ever on the good end of. i wonder why it's not reviewable. certainly seems like something that can be corrected with replay. anyways, after that drama, i am not going to try to milk any more wins out of the birthday thread. the cow is dry. the thread is dead. long live the new thread tomorrow!!
