Season Stats: 27-19-1 (+12.70 units)
Last Week: 4-3 (+2.90 units)

1. RUTGERS (+2) over South Florida (4 units)

This is South Florida's first significant Big East road test.

Last year, All-American Ray Rice ran for 202 yards and 2 TD's as the Scarlet Knights won in Tampa, 22-20. Last week, Rice ran for a season-high 196 yards and 3 TD's in a win at Syracuse. Rice has scored a TD in 14 straight games.

This game has the same feel as Louisville's trip to Rutgers did last season. I'm looking for a similar result.

2. Louisville (-3) over CONNECTICUT (3 units) (Friday)

WINNER on the Scarlet Knights :00hour

Writeup for Friday:

2. Louisville (-3) over CONNECTICUT (3 units)

The Cardinals enter the contest on a high note as they knocked off nationally-ranked and previously unbeaten Cincinnati last weekend. UL has won 2 of its 3 road games this season, with the one loss coming at Kentucky.

Louisville possesses one of the most prolific offenses not only in the Big East, but in the entire nation, as they are averaging 41.7 ppg and 559.6 ypg. Their defense stepped up last week and forced 4 key turnovers in the win over the Bearcats.

Last week, Connecticut was limited to just 254 total yards in a loss to Virginia. The Huskies were 1-for-13 in third down conversions.

UConn is off to a good start, but it has yet to face an opponent the caliber of Louisville. The Cardinals simply have too many weapons for the Huskies to handle and they should run away with this one behind the strong and accurate arm of Brohn.

3. Tennessee (-1) over ALABAMA (1 unit)

The #20 Volunteers look for their fourth straight victory. Tennessee is averaging 38.6 points and 464 ypg during its winning streak.

Erik Ainge leads the SEC in completion percentage (66.5). He has thrown 6 TD's and just 2 INT in his last 3 games and has been sacked just once all season.

4. PARLAY:
Wyoming (+2-1/2) over AIR FORCE
COLORADO (+3-1/2) over Kansas
(1 unit to win 2.60 units)

The Cowboys have held their last 13 opponents without a 100-yard rusher. Wyoming has the top-rated defense in the Mountain West (and 10th nationally) with just 280.5 ypg allowed.

The Jayhawks have lost 5 straight times at Colorado. There is no doubt that Colorado plays better at home than on the road. The Buffaloes win this one with strong defense and special teams.
