certainly have to wonder where Kent will find scoring punch with Edelman on the shelf. The entire world and perhaps even the CMU staff knows that if they can keep Jarvis somewhat in check the Chipp's should roll and keep Kents scoring to a minimum. I think that Kent will roll over and play dead just as they did last season.

Good Luck

Minnesota/Michigan under 59--I don't know that we see a great performance out of the Wolverines on Saturday. Michigan's offense is banged up and they will sit on the lead in the second half. They just want this game over with so they can concentrate on their final three games (Sparty, Wisky and OSU). Minnesota is rotten and will struggle against Michigan's rejuvenated defense. I can't see them getting more than 17 points which means Michigan needs to get 42. That has happened once this year for the Wolverines, against Purdue.

Kent St./CMU under 60--Flashes are a mess right now and must avoid a shootout if they have any shot to win the game. CMU gave up 70 last week and has been gashed all year by teams. But, does Kent have the drive to compete with a true frosh QB? I don't think CMU will light it up on the road and this one will stay in the low 50's.

Villanova -2 over Hofstra--Hofstra in a tough spot this week after getting blasted by UNH last week and going on the road this week. I think they will lay another egg against Villanova who is solid enough on both sides of the ball to cover the small chalk at home.

Troy -4 over Arkansas St.--Both teams are strong offensively but I give the edge to Troy on defense. They seemed to have corrected their rush defense problems over the last couple of weeks, but that could be because they played North Texas and FIU. The road chalk concerns me but I think Troy is a class above the rest of the Sun Belt.

Adding...

Michigan -6.5 (Q1) over Minnesota--Michigan should come out strong and get a lead but then really slow the game down. I wouldn't be surprised to see them come out in the shotgun and really air it out early.

Purdue/Northwestern under 65--Except for the two overtime games, NW has stayed under this number most of the season and Purdue has been under it the last 4 games. With both teams having solid seasons recordwise you won't see the loose play that happens when shitty teams match up. I think this one will stay in the mid-50's.

MTSU/North Texas under 57.5--MTSU still has a shot a sharing the Sun Belt Conference title. They are probably the best defensive team in the Sun Belt (I know, that is like being the tallest midget) but don't have the offensive firepower. North Texas is rotten and can't score against anyone unless it is a defensive score. MTSU is not going to try to run it up on the road, they will just want to get the win.

No problem buddy. I was ready to cash the ticket once I saw Ryan (The Glacier) Mallet under center. Thanks for the Buffalo winner. Maybe your q-factor is back on track.

Maybe the MAC will come back to earth before the end of the year and prediciting their games will be easier? Shocker yesterday--UNC beat Mont St outright on a fg with 3 seconds left?? Wow!
