This is some of the stupidest shit I have seen posted here and that is saying alot.

Get off of your high horse. Take a freaking poll and see if the majority of people say the same. Why travel alone? You could travel and enjoy the excursion with others. As I said earlier, things must really be bad to go alone. It is pretty cool to ask strangers to take pictures of you by yourself in front of a landmark. I guess it is pretty cool to go to a club in Glasgow and hang out in a corner by yourself.
Judge, wouldn't expect anything less of an opinion from you and your fellow Branch Davidians

In the past 10 years, I've travelled alone to Europe several times. Every trip a wonderful success(See Smurphy's post above). I once spent 7 weeks throughout Europe with several friends and my girlfriend at the time. The girlfriend was a pain in the ass and tried her best to spoil an otherwise great time. Most recently, I went to Spain with my wife, though we were only engaged at the time. She doesn't travel well, so I didn;t have the type of experience I had hoped for that fall. Anyway, some of the best times I had were by myself. I enjoy meeting and hanging out with locals, as well as the general freedom of doing things at exactly my pace.

You may want to open your mind a bit. And no, I don't mean with animal tranquilizers.

Ok, so would would rather go alone than with your friends who didn't seem to be a pain in the ass like your wife? Didn't think so.

Also you people don't get it. I didn't say that traveling alone is taboo. I need to open my mind? Screw the guy. He wanted to rub in a third touchdown with the :00hour, I wanted to rub in that things are rough when you have to travel alone. No friends, on the verge of a breakdown, can't get a girl, etc. Disagree if you like.
