TCU @ BYU - Does TCU's 37-0 win over New Mexico signal that TCU has broken out of their season long funk? BYU has gone 7-1-1 ATS their last 9 at home and the one non-cover was last week's 19 points win as 21 point chalk against Colorado State. TCU has gone 0-3-1 ATS on the road this season with the one push taking a minor miracle @ Wyoming (TCU trailed 24-6 before scoring 15 points to push). I also show BYU should be closer to a 10 point favorite... maybe the oddsmakers know something I don't

BYU -6.5 (-120) for 10* & 1st half -4 (-105) for 5* - I'll be surprised if TCU can play within 7 points against BYU. I'm going to take this play now as I don't expect the spread to get any lower. BYU is the best team in the MWC IMO and they're looking at a decent bowl game. They lost to UCLA, but outgained the Bruins by 200 yards and lost to Tulsa despite outgaining Tulsa by 100 yards. They should come ready to play on National TV.

BYU 31 TCU 17

Louisville @ West Virginia - Tough game to handicap as Louisville has to play some defense to make this competitive. If the Louisville defense from Middle Tennessee, Utah, Syracuse, etc. shows up... The Cardinals lose by 30+ points. If the Cardinals show up defensively like they did vs. NC State and Cincy... they should cover this large spread. I think Louisville has improved defensively enough to keep this game competitive. Brohm also has a golden opportunity to impress some scouts and I think he exposes this Mountaineer secondary. West Virginia has yet to face a solid passing team and Brohm has thrown for 26 TD's and I expect him to add 2 or 3 TD's on Thursday night.

West Virginia 34 Louisville 27

Louisville +17 for 10*
Louisville 1st half +10 for 5*

TCU 2nd half +3 for 4* - Going for a middle and hedging a little bit. Feel very fortunate to have won both 1st half wagers tonight and TCU had momentum going into half.

Got screwed as Patteson saves 2 timeouts at the end of the game:shrug: I guess he had money on TCU +7 or more and didn't want to lose... seriously screwed up.

Too bad I didn't take my TCU 2nd half for more money... damnit!
