My book does not have a total available for this game yet, but I saw online that is has opened as 52. As long as there isn't much movement by the time I get it, I am looking at the Over for this one. Both teams are definetly capable of putting up 30+ points and I was very pleased with how Akron ran the ball last week against Ohio.
Akron has averaged giving up 31.3 in its last 3 on the road and scoring 23 a game in its last 3 road games.
Miami, Oh has averaged giving up almost 40 a game in their last two home games and are averaging 21 in the last two home games on the offensive side.
Weather should be decent for this one ranging from 45-50 throughout the game with winds topping out at 10 mph, so this shouldn't affect either teams passing offense.
Either defense has been very good all year, both avg. giving up 25+ a game. Neither pass d has been very stellar either, but hey the MAC is like the old west, they love shootouts. And if Akron runs the ball like they did last week, they should rush all over this Miami D which is giving up an avg. of 213 yards a game on the ground.
As of now, I will be closing out my Open Par (Hit the Under in the Toledo/Balls Deep game) with the Over at 52 in this game. I will also being looking to maybe make a play on Akron, will wait and see what the line does during the day tomorrow.
be back tomorrow with definite bets.
