interested in you selection of Toledo..

saw them play ODU and the looked like a rudderless ship w/o a point guard.

plus they where just hammered on the glass.

The Dayton team has four starters back from last year's team, including one of the best players in school history (6-2 senior Brian Roberts). If that wasn't reason enough to be optimistic, the Flyers welcome what is believed to be the A-10's best recruiting class, led by 6-8 above-the-rim athlete Chris Wright.

Rockets lost the heart and soul of last year's team. Justin Ingram, Keonta Howell and Florentino Valencia lifted the program to new heights with their durability, heart and consistency.

Filling that void won't be an easy task. The three former Rockets combined to average 61.3 and 46.8 percent of the team's points and rebounds last year.

not crazy about the chance of back-door cover w/ex asst. at Toledo coaching Dayton who may ease up against his former boss.

thanks in advance for your reply..

best of luck this season..

My selections are based almost entirely on a math model. It results in painful plays sometimes (see Northern Illinois last night) but I have won money consistently with it. So, I don't really have an answer to your question except that I would question using the word "heart" with a Joplin-coached team.

Ouch.....what if the hypothetical usage came in a sentence such as this......"typical Rockets, they got no heart" :142smilie

Sadly, its becoming the same thing on the gridiron too, at least defensively.....i'd ask you about Friday's game, but thats for another forum.....Good luck tonight!

As long as Stan doesn't wear that god awful bright deep red blazer the rockets may have some focus , but it would appear that on paper that Toledo is indeed outclassed in this one. No play here so I hope they cover for you.

BTW the falcons look 100% better already. Orr seems like a nice fit.

gl with Toledo,BG. Going to wait it out to tip, but my numbers agree. One of those games you want to vomit before playing hard earned money, but they usually come through.
